Every once in a while, the gnomes like to play little pranks on the headmistress. This despite the fact that the results tend to involve a great deal of pain, the occasional dismemberment, and the rare but much feared "donation to SCIENCE." Sadly, they didn't even make it that far this time.

Name: Mr. Charles Chuckles
Nicknames: Charlie, Chuck, "STFU you stupid clown."

Age: it is a mystery. only recently summoned from the dead.

Faction/Race Ghost/Revenant

Personality:

Vindictive, hateful and gluttonous; Charles isn't very pleased about being summoned from the dead. He doesn't remember who he was before he died, but it looks like he kicked the proverbial bucket dressed up as a clown. Perpetually pissed off and generally unimpressed, Charles's attitude is unbecoming and crude. He has a bad word and an unsavoury name for just about everything.

Here is a ghost (surprise, surprise) who likes to keep to himself. Antisocial and miserable, but content in this misery, Charles genuinely doesn't have much patience or appreciation for anything. This includes, but is not limited to, jolly morons like Santa Clause and unforgivably adorable things like kittens.

If Charles has one redeeming quality it's that he's happy about being angry. Since his death (and as far as he knows), it's all he's ever known. Charles likes being furious and is at his best whenever he's permitted to hate freely. Stay out of his way, and you'll get along fine-- unless, of course, you've got a pretty face.

Charles has a bit of an eye for women, and likes to chat them up, but is very bad at it, and angry about being bad at it. "Hey, tuts, let me buy you a drink," Charles growls, because growling is what he does. Needless to say, Charles's poor people skills and veritable lack of charm make it impossible for him to develop any meaningful relationships outside of 'tolerated' and he is, as a result, a very lonely fellow.

He also suffers from an inexplicable ailment where he feels compelled to tell jokes. These are usually just as awful and angry as his pickup lines.

Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Charles is not attending school because he enjoys it. Charles doesn't enjoy very much of anything, except, probably, being irritable and terrifying. Amityville Academy seems like a pretty decent place to do both of these.

FEAR:

Natural Ability-- ghostly stuff.
xxxxxxx • Energy absorb: Revenants seem to be able to absorb the energy around them, making them stronger. They feed off emotions.

FEAR Ability-- Through FEAR and a couple very enthusiastic honks of his horn, which acts as a sort of pump, Charles can inflate himself to twice his usual size. This makes him more impressive and intimidating physically, and also increases his weight. This means it hurts pretty badly when he stomps on toes with those giant extoplasmic clown shoes.
xxxxxx UPGRADING : With the education that he receives at Amityville Acadmemy Charles will be able to inflate himself into a ball, and then attempt to steamroll his opponents.
xxxxxx WEAKNESS : Charles can not use his FEAR ability without his horn to blow himself up. He depends on it. Also, he deflates like a balloon with a little hole in it, and is left pretty vulnerable after the fact.
