Personality: Hathi is, by his nature, a very happy sort of horse. He's a little naive and a little bit simple, but he's a fast learner and cares deeply for the people in his life. He's still got a bit of growing up to do, but he hopes to one day be someone his son can look up to as a real father. He's singularly compassionate and understanding, and would never turn someone away if they needed his help. While he's fairly go-with-the-flow about life, he doesn't very much like being controlled; while he's not the type to actively rebel, it does cause him a little bit of emotional duress when Rhea acts like she's the boss--he knows that she basically is, but it's the principle of the thing.
Background, if applicable: Hathi was raised mainly by his mother, Macchiato, and grew up with two siblings, who both seemed to have it more together than he ever did. His father wasn't around very much, and as a result of this he grew quite close to both his mother and his sister. As such, he's always been better able to get along with females than males, but he doesn't have anything against his own gender either.

Foal Plots
--Father Figure:
1. Teach Me: Hathi needs a male rolemodel of some sort, one to teach him manners and how to be a good little boy. One that can put up with his nature (hyper, very happy, but not above trying to wheedle out of responsibilities), and more than that--enjoy that personality and have a complimentary one. Basically, he just has to be 'cool' to Hathi. The more Hathi looks up to him, the more he'll learn. Any male can apply, but a Flutter (or Wind) would be best.
2. I Can Do WHAT?: Someone (perhaps the male rolemodel?) needs to show Hathi he can shrink.
3. Flying Lesson: More than anything ever, Hathi desperately wants to know how to fly. Someone (probably the male rolemodel) needs to teach him how~
--Stay Away From My Sister!: As Hathi gets older, he'll start to get a little bit protective of his sister. I think having another, older colt talk to her or play (maybe too roughly and she gets hurt?) with her would be a good opportunity for Hathi to realize that he can't be silly all the time. [Note: Must be approved by his sister's owner~]
-- You...You Don't Want To Be Friends?: He needs to have someone just...plain old not like him. Whether this turns into his first nemesis or simply a short pseudo-meet and greet is up to negotiation.
--Young Love: Hey...You're cute! He needs to get his first crush! This can end up any number of ways, including:
a)They have a 'romance', in the most innocent sense of the word--like how 5 year olds will proudly parade eachother around, saying they're married. Then, they can either become best friends as they get older and eventually get together for real. Note: They would have to eventually break up, as he is currently with Rhea and was single when he met her. HOWEVER, see Adult Plots for a note in this regard.
b.) Same as above, but after their 'marriage', they become best friends and nothing else.
c) Same as above, but after their 'marriage', they drift apart.
d) He tries to 'marry' her, but she shuts him down, revealing to him for the first time the bitter sting of rejection.

Adult Plots
--Fatherhood: Hathi needs someone to teach him the ropes of how to be a father; this would take place while Matthius is either a basket or a foal--preferably someone with children of their own and/or the father figure from when he was a foal himself.
--Boylove FLING: Sometime after Matthius is grown probably, I want Hathi to meet a stallion and become fast friends with him--although little does he know that the other stallion has feelings for him. When confronted with them, Hathi would in his naive way decide that since it wasn't another female, it would be okay for him to accept the weird feelings he's been experiencing as well. Possibly resulting in baskets--but I still need to talk to Marzi and clear this/figure out how it would involve our other plots.
--Girl-love: In addition to the above plot, at some point, I want Hathi to be faced with a really awkward mare who's like completely enraptured by him and gets a huge crush on him. Hathi would then have to reject her, since he would be with Rhea--this COULD be the female from his childhood, making it even better. Would not result in baskets.
--Fight or Flight: As an adult, Hathi will need to be faced with a moment of extreme stress--a threat to either himself or his family or both, at the hooves of another Soq. He would need to decide whether to defend himself/his family or shrink into a butterfly and flutter away. Which way this goes as to broad strokes will depend on the RP, but Hathi will not be getting killed or even very seriously injured either way.

Personality: As much as Matthi would never admit it, he has a good deal more of his mother in him than his father. He got Hathi's general good nature, to be sure, but he got his mother's vanity and pride, as well as her commanding personality. Matthi thinks he's quite princely, and while he does sometimes tend to talk down to others, this particular quirk expresses itself more through attempts at maturity and bravery and nonchalance. All that being said, when you get right down to it, Matthius is as much a sweetheart as is father is; he's very loyal and cares a lot about those closest to him--it's just more of a challenge to get there in the first place than it is with Hathi.
Background, if applicable: Raised by his parents after they wished on a star and offered one of Hathi's feathers as an offering--he knows he's their miracle child, and to be honest he was kind of treated like it, which makes him a touch spoiled. He has a certain respect for females, although not even his mother could cow him so as to make him completely subservient.
Plots Desired/Desc. of Plots:
Foal Plots
--Rivals: I'd like Matthius to get his first taste of not being all that when he's fairly young; he needs to be shown up at something and embarrassed by it.
--Damsel in Distress: Matthius thinks himself a prince or a knight, and he always strives to act like it. I'd like to give him a chance to prove his valor by finding someone who needs assistance with (fairly menial) tasks. Whether the other soq (preferably a female) buys into the idea and thinks she's a princess or is just using him, it could be fun.
--Best Bros: Although Matthius will always be fairly competitive with other males, I'd like someone to break through his shell and really click with him. They'd be very close and confide everything in each other, and hopefully this friendship would continue throughout their adult years.
--Family RP: Matthius needs to meet his grandparents and aunts and uncles!!
--Reckless Endangerment: Matthius is kinda dumb. Especially when he was younger, he didn't always think about the consequences of his actions, and this would bite him in the butt more than once. As a result, I'd like him to get injured doing one of his stunts and have to let someone else take care of him.

Adult Plots
--Lovely Ladies; Matthius is handsome and he knows it--he's also a flirt. As many ladies as possible--NOT resulting in a basket, unless they click very well.
--Robbed: Matthi is very attached to his things--the necklaces and bracelets that are like his mother's, the feathers that are identical to his father's. It could be interesting if he suddenly woke up without these things. Could either be him tracking down the thief and fighting him/her, negotiating his stuff back, OR him getting help from someone and attempting that together.
--The One That Got Away: His first adult crush. He would fall fast and hard for this female, who would (hopefully) reciprocate but not nearly as intensely as Matthius would feel. Whether this would freak her out or she would simply meet someone else (or cheat on him because who doesn't love a good betrayal plot), they would break ties. Possibly resulting in baskets.
--Rivals Revisited: As an adult, Matthius will again think he's king of the world and someone will need to show him otherwise. Could be the same rival from his youth.
