Winter Wonderland Snowball Fight!

The Winter Wonderland Snowball Fight is an event of the Winter Wonderland War event the school is hosting for the month of December. The snowball fight is worth 50 House points to whichever House wins. Located throughout the campus, the Winter Wonderland Snowball Fight will use a d20 dice system to tabulate the winner. How To and Rules.

Rules:

1. Obey all school rules and the Gaia ToS.
2. Stay away from the Forbidden Forest and the Lake.
3. Use only snow. No ice balls.
4. Using magic results in the loss of one life.
5. You have three lives, then you're out. You cannot help your team.
6. Teams are broken up by House.
7. No purposefully attacking your own House members to help another House.
8. Ghosts are not allowed to participate. I'm talking to you Peeves.
9. Professors and Staff will moderate the fight.
10. Have fun and enjoy. The winner gets 50 House points.

How To:

The first thing you must do is prepare your post. Below the text box are two more boxes. One says Post Style:. Ignore that one. We want the Post Action: box. Click the drop down and selection Roll Dice. Another box will appear. Click Select Dice and select the 20 sided selection. Next to that says Number of dice. Type "1" in the box. Then hit post. Outside of your post will be the result. Now...the actually gameplay.

In your first post, you will post your action. Say, for instance, my character Tamara wants to throw a snowball at Ravenclaw's Xenos daVinci. I would post: "Tamara balls up some snow and throws it at Xenos." Then, I roll the dice in my post. See the next post for the continuation.

How To (Cont'd):

See the box above my previous post? That has the result of my dice roll. I rolled a 16 out of 20. Now Xenos would have to roll the same dice to see if he gets hit or not. Say he rolls anything below a 16. He gets hit and loses a life. Now he only has two more. If he rolls 16 or above, he dodged the snowball. Xenos would post with a roll, then go back and edit his post accordingly. If he dodges the snowball, he does not lose a life. Then he has all the right to attack Tamara back. Say he does. He rolls the d20 to attack and gets a 17, so Tamara rolls her defense...

Professor Anyanka Swan

Anyanka Swan gathered those students who registered for the snowball fight and politely collected their wands, since this was a no-magic fight. She paced the front of them, smiling. "Every House has a starting location, which I was secretly tell each of you. Go there and wait for the fireworks before you begin. After that, the whole of the campus, with the exception of the Forbidden Forest and the Lake, is open to the game. Me and Professor Skylar will be flying around campus making sure everyone is behaving and following the rules. Any questions?"

Icarus smiled, eager for the students to play. This was always his favorite game. Mostly because he would run up and pelt the enemy's faces with snowballs. He'd throw so hard, it'd leave a mark for days! Good times, good times.

"Good luck teams, and have fun!" Icarus glanced at Anya as he held his broom tightly in his hand. He was eager to fly through the air.

Luckily, our staff includes a lot of beautiful women. Beautiful women… which I may hit on… I hope.
