Okay so is it weird that someone (not going to say name even though its a boy) I always meet him in zOMG.I added him as friend, but then I deleted him because I don't' know him. I don't like to add people that I don't know. So I deleted him, and just today I saw him in zOMG! We ended up in a crew together and I was really surprised that I put him in the ignore list. : ( Am I just freaking out that he might be a stalker or is everything okay? >.<... I'm afraid I might have some kind of firewall, and someone is hacking into my computer and knowing where I'm at. Am I just overexhagerating... this freaks me out. : ( And I say hi and he don't say hi at all, I say "Hey name" or "Name, what are you doing here, I see you here all the time!"... and *silence* there is no answer from him.
Help girls!

It could just be a coincidence. I think that your are just overreacting just a bit though. I highly doubt that anyone would do that to your computer. I have the same kind of paranoia. ninja but if you get bad vibes from him then ignore him. Sometimes you have to go with your gut feeling.

A firewall prevents hackers, or at least tries to... sweatdrop I think you're being a little paranoid here. There's lots of people in zOMG!; you just happened to see this particular one again. If it'll help, I can give you some computer protection tips to help you reassure yourself. Also, maybe he doesn't say hi back because he doesn't remember who you are? I don't remember everyone I meet or see in VH or zOMG!, either.

It's alright, I panic about things, too. :3
Some basic rules are, never give your passwords to ANYONE. Not your Gaia password, not your Facebook password nor your e-mail password. Mods never need passwords, so if someone claims to be, report them. This goes for any site you browse. Don't click links you don't recognize. Especially if they say "Click here to get free gold/a free iPod/etc." Those are considered scams and could be keyloggers, which are trojans that track what you type. The same goes with ads. Don't click them, either. Keep your antivirus up to date. If you don't have one, GET ONE. And get an antispyware program while you're at it. Scan often.
If you have Firefox or Google Chrome, I suggest you get AdBlock Plus and block them all, because some ads contain viruses. I'd also suggest you use the Web of Trust tool; this tells you what sites are risky and which ones are safe to browse. If you have any other questions, feel free to PM me. :3

When my Gaia net-worth started to go really up (I've been collecting pricey stuff since 2k6) I started to get really paranoid I'd be targeted for hacking or just plain losing my account in some way! So I created a bank mule. This mule has nothing associated with my main account (except for similar e-mails), I even use a different browser to access it. I use it to keep all the stuff I don't have equipped. That way If I do ever get hacked or deleted or something, the losses will be minimal. NightAngels Yeah I guess I am sweatdrop

No, it's a browsing tool. It does have a site, however. It's www.mywot.com and it's safe. :3 You can download it from there; IE has it in the Bing toolbar, apparently. I have Firefox and just downloaded it from the add-on site.
Edit: O.o What happened to those posts she made?

Thanks girls, this makes me feel better ^^. Okay I do have 2 accounts but I guess I can make a 3rd one surprised , One that I don't ever use biggrin . My main account is this one. My 2nd account was meant to be a mule but I think I hang around in mule account to much lol. So I think a 3rd one would be good surprised one that I never use and use a different browser for.
