Jeanette Isabella flutters along the beach. That is, she takes a few steps, pumps her wings hard enough to get a little lift, goes a few feet, and then has to land. She looks rather like a bumblebee. She's a small child, without a parent-figure in sight. And she's singing, in the sort of atonal whimsical voice small children have.
"Oh I'm a little fairy in the sand...in the sand...it squishes in my toes...and then the water comes to wash it away..."

Another parent-less figure sat upon the beach. The water made the young boy calm. Aquos let out a heavy sigh. He was lonely. He had been since as long as he could remember...Which isn't that long, but for a child it seemed like forever. The nightmares didn't help either but that was another story. Whenever he was by the water all the bad things went away. He never understood it, but it worked and he liked what worked. He did feel better but he was still lonely...Well this still sucked. It wasn't like he had seen many children about either way. There was no way he could be the only child...Could he?
