We recently had this computer's processor (thingy) upgraded.
To this specifically:

What? How?
It means that your motherboard's BIOS firmware is too old to support your processor upgrade. So your clock speeds, power management states, and temperature monitoring is all off, or not functional.
You will have to update your motherboard's firmware, but you will need to know the exact brand and model of your motherboard before I ever want to continue telling you what else you will need to do.
