Just a few more days. I'll have it on xbox, and it's all I'm going to be doing for quite a while I'm sure.
Anyone else getting it?

I remember one of my friends was getting all hyped up over this game last year, which is kind of funny since he doesn't even like fighting games and I highly doubt he'll buy it when it finally comes out. To the game's credit, it looks very well made, but I think we've already discussed that fighting games aren't my bag.

Nope, not even sex should prevent one from MvC3. Also just was informed that the boss is Galactus and he's like a billion feet tall and can one-shot characters from full health. You know... Like Galactus should be.

I didn't like Street Fighter 4, I didn't like the art style and I didn't like the way it handled.
Why would I like this game? It's basically a rehash of SF4 with cooler characters.

Well I'm getting it and I would destroy anyone here on the LSG.
Too bad my internet is not good enough to play online. Looks like I gotta bum off someone's place. =[

I really disliked SF4, and this is basically SF4 with some Marvel characters chucked in. It'd be like if they made the next Guilty Gear using the SF4 template. I guess a lot of it has to do with my severe distaste for 2D games transitioning to 3D

MvC3 is 4 buttons and assists, and they aren't even separated into kicks or punches. SSF4 is 8 buttons. The entire mechanics of these two games are different. I do not feel like making a gigantic list of differences. I don't know why I have said anything at all. You don't play fighting games. If you did, you wouldn't have said anything you have said.

Actually I've played plenty of fighting games, I just like it when they're good and don't play like other fighting games. I've played SF 4 and I've played MvC3 and while the button layout is different they still FEEL like the same game.
Like I said earlier, I guess I'm a purist and like my 2D games to stay 2D. Also u mad?

Also u mad? You've played fighting games, but have you really played fighting games? Fighting games are something you just play. You can pick up a fighting game and play it, but not truly play it until years of playing. Truly playing a fighting game is not a pastime, it is an art. Playing a fighting game is not playing a fighting game. It is living it. Don't you understand? Of course you don't because you don't play fighting games.

I played it last night, I only have two gripes. 1) No Turbo/Turbo 2 mode 2) Not enough characters.
My team is Wesker, X-23, and maybe Zero if I could ever get used to how weird his attacks are.
X-23 is ******** up though.
