Hey guys. I know we have some artists in the guild. Let see what you're up to in terms of art. biggrin




This is Levera as the captain of the Ballycastle Bats. biggrin (She's a keeper)

I rarely get time to draw things of my choice these days, but I recently made a first attempt at armour.

One day I'll get a tablet. ;___;

Mine was drawn with a finelining pen. Just a pen with a really thin nib.

I assume Daem0nsw0lf used a computer program...

Daem0nsw0lf uses Autodesk Maya.
Mine, which are on the map of Hogwarts page, are made with Google Sketchup. Similar to Maya but easier, and free.

@Acu period: That's amazing! I like the fine detail you put in with the hatching and the design looks awesome. :3

@fraise rouge: For the painting I used Adobe Photoshop with an Intuos 4 Wacom tablet, but I hand sketched the original drawing.
The Harlequin is a 3D model made with Autodesk Maya. :3


@Daemonsadi: Show off more of your great 3D stuff!!

My strongest point is annoying little details. xD

I wish I had that ability. I tend to get frustrated and then forget to do the little details and hope the overallness of the piece covers up for that.

I am the complete opposite! I still have problems with anatomy and depth, so I throw in tons of details so that people won't notice how bad the actual art is! xd

Actually your anatomy isn't that bad. Have you had any anatomy classes? If you can take one I think it'll improve your art a lot! biggrin

No, I've taught myself everything I know over the years. I'm beginning to study figures and jump straight into figure drawing, so I'm expecting a steep learning curve in the coming months!

This is just a little somethin' I did when I was bored. My friend helped me edit it to make it more clearer and stuff.
