█║ DESCRIPTION » Ever since she turned into a Sableye hybrid, her skin changed into small, purple scales. Although the texture isn't noticeable for afar. She has gems of red and orange color on her hip and at the top of her forehead and a larger red gem over her stomach. Her tongue is also a red and orange color and it can be extended to a longer length than before. Her eyes became crystalized with a bright pink color and her fingernails were replaced with claws. Her hair starts off with red and orange highlights, then turns into pale blond which extends down her back. Her body has become more resistant to the cold and her strength has increased to that of an average man. Her endurance and stamina has also increased from the extremely weak body she had. Her feet have a more resistant texture so she no longer wears shoes and prefers to wear very light clothes unless she's going into the tundra.

indentIn the not really so tiny town of Pallet Town, there used to be a small family that consisted of a mom, a brother and a little girl. The line they tell you that your child can get a pokemon and start their adventure off at eight years old is a lie. It's been a lie ever since the wars stopped. It was something they told parents to get their kids into a battle environment earlier on and have them be fine with young recruits. The brother had been one of those recruits. At eight years old, he went out with his Squirtle but he came back often. Then, five years later, he was called to fight on the front lines. The little girl, Veronica, at the time was only 6 years old but she always expected him to return. Even if this time it took longer, he did return three years later however different he had become. indentVeronica had hoped she too would start going out into the world at 8, as people had for so long. But she didn't. They said they didn't have any pokemon left to give, or that she should wait for a more special pokemon, or whatever excuse that would easily sway a young child. So when her brother returned, she kept begging him for a pokemon. A few weeks later, he lost his patience and pushed her back. On that day, he left again. Veronica felt guilty, as their mother seemed really upset about what happened. So Veronica decided to study more about Pokemon and become worthy of someone giving her a pokemon. She learned about every (common) pokemon and how to take very good care of your pokemon. She learned about items, their ablities and type resistance and effectiveness. But she was specially captivated by the lore of legendary pokemon. indentTwo years later, her mom passed away. She was only 11 so her brother was called on by the police to return to take care of her. That only lastest for two months, just long enough for everyone else to forget the whole ordeal. Then, he left again without saying good bye. Veronica didn't know what else to do and she simple stayed in the peaceful and warm Pallet Town for a few more years. Taking on babysitting and tutoring jobs. She made it work some how. She learned to perfect the act of kindness, even when she didn't mean to be nice. indentAt 15 years old, she fell in love. Only to be devastated by the break up after a year. That opened her eyes. All these kids, their parents and whatever friends she had wouldn't make a difference. She was alone and it wouldn't change the torment of abandonment and pain she carried with her day by day. That's when she finally decided to leave Pallet Town behind. Without any pokemon, she traveled with great care. It went fine, and the change in scenery made her feel new. indentOne day, she found herself in the middle of the Snagem's mission and she figured that those people had to be part of some sort of group. It would have been great to have some companions, she believed, and that made it worth giving them a chance. She joined Snagem, receiving a small Chimchar as her first pokemon. "Chi." She called him. "Like the life source, it's what connects us." she said. █║ SNAGEM LIFE »
indentVeronica's missions started rather slow. She was silly, eccentric, very hyper and childish. She felt like she could trust the Snagems, they held unspoken loyalty between each other and they made her feel at home. Besides, it felt great to help others. For the longest time, it was the best kind of distraction from all her pain.
indentIn her first year, a mission came in that her father needed help. Of course, it would only be right that she would be the one to take on this mission. He would recognize her and as he did, so did the enemy: her brother. It seemed that as his business started to improve, her brother only thought he had the right to gain from it whether or not the father agreed to it. Veronica managed to put a stop to his brother, whom being 24 years old got sent to prison for armed robbery. Veronica felt like she didn't have any connection with her father and they parted ways once again. At that time, she only had her Chimchar, Trapinch and Zubat with her.
indentAnother year passed as she participated in many group and personal missions. She gathered her balanced team: Infernape, Flygon, Crobat, Luxray, Lucario, and Jellicent. It was important to her to keep a variety of moveset within her team. All with real-word names that meant something to her. This life was enough for her. She had a new family now, although the pain of the past hadn't left her, she knew she belonged here so she tried to not think about the pain.
indentOne day, she was out on a Halloween mission in Lavender Town to stop grave diggers. She drove them away just before they searched through another grave for treasure. In the end, that grave cursed her with a darkness. A shadow of a Sableye would follow her, always present in the corner of her eye, some times it would speak to her. Some times it would cause chaos in any small way it could. It became annoying, having the Sableye follow her around everywhere for more than a year on all of her mission and in her every waking moment.
indentIt seemed having the Sableye shadow around brought more dark type pokemons towards her. One Absol in particular even acknowledge the Sableye and so Veronica captured the Absol. Her Absol made her feel like it was something real and not just her imagination. Only that made her realize just how real the darkness that grew inside of her was. She wasn't the happy go-lucky child she used to be. Veronica decided to let herself sink into it all, the depression, the pain, the worst of her cycling feelings.
indentShe spent months in despair, to the point that the Sableye had to push her to get out on one of her "silly missions." She despised his arrogance. Then again, she started to despise everything about existing. But... she knew she had to do the missions. She had to earn her keep and she had to make them proud; because they were her only family. So Veronica took on an easy mission. Only to find herself summoning Uxie which ended up also bringing the Sableye from his shadow form to real life. There, he killed her, taking the place of her heart to permanently stay in the physical world.

indentVeronica was 20 years old when it happened, bringing herself to feel lost all over again for a long time. Eventually, she returned to Snagem. She found help to cure her Lucario from the shadow virus. Her Abso would still need a vaccine but it would take time. Veronica figured it must have been the reason why they could see the Sableye shadow. Soon after her return, she made a trade for a Zorua whom she gave a Shiny Pokeblock to. The Zorua was special to Veronica after all, he represented everything she was: mischievous, determined, skeptical, smart, borderline-crazy... And so with the new companion by her side, she departed on a series of missions to discover more about the darkness that was now a part of her being.
