I found a lump in my left armpit, which is breast tissue. It's rather large, about the size of a quarter and is very sensitive. It hurts even to move my arm the wrong way. A few days ago, I did get a pertussis(whooping cough) vaccination. Do you girls think that has anything to do with it?

I looked up some Pertussis Vaccination side effects and how to identify them and found this.
If you think it could be something more serious, like breast cancer, please go to the doctor ASAP..

I went in today for an exam and my doctor found another lump in my right breast. She thinks they're just cysts, but now both my breasts and armpits are very tender; it hurts even to wear a bra. I am on antibiotics to shrink and "get rid of" the cysts. If, after three months, they don't go away or they get bigger or my breasts or armpits are red, I am to contact my doctor. There's still a chance it's not cancer, but we still don't know.

My sister in law had cysts in her armpits and they moved around like a ball. I don't know if that's the same thing you had, though.

Aw, thank you, Kimzy! I should be fine, I highly doubt it's cancer. But I guess we won't know till June

It could be nothing, or it could be something. But we're no health specialists. No matter what it is, they're going to have to take a biopsy of the lump. I had a friend who got one there in high school and it was just a cyst, and I had another friend who got one when she was 19 and it was breast cancer. :/ Not to get you worried, but you really need to go to the doctor NOW.
Like... NOW NOW.

I did visit the doctor the other day. She said they were most likely just cysts and prescribed antibiotics. However, they haven't gotten any better. I called her this morning and she said that as long as they're not turning red or anything, I'll be fine.
