Apart from the usual ideas, does anybody here have any healthy way to gain weight? I mean, any high muscle mass producing exercises and such?
Because, quite frankly, I am sick and tired of people telling me I need to eat more/gain weight.
I am just over five foot five, and I weigh 103 pounds, with roughly 10 percent body fat, and little to no muscle mass.
I have a high metabolism, and eat often four meals a day. I physically cannot gain more weight that way, and eating high fat foods does nothing to my weight, and it makes my skin break out.
I'm in marching band, and people love to pick me up. The freshmen especially. (Durr Hurr, we can lift an upclassman with one hand. Durr Hurr.) And yelling at them just makes them want to hug me, or pat my head.
A way to stop being cute would be great too, okay thanks.

Maybe you should check into muscle building exercises and strength training. Things like walking helps build muscle in your legs and you can use small weights (nothing like huge bodybuilder type things, just enough to actually build up muscle mass) to build up other muscle as well. I would suggest doing a bit of research on it. If you decide to go this route, just make sure that you get enough protein for your body to build the muscles properly ^^

I'd consult a nutritionist. You might just be made that way, and there might be a specific diet you need to follow to gain weight in a healthy manner. We all need different things in our diets, and it would be good for you to find out exactly what you needed. :]
But generally, you need to add lean proteins. Outside of that, you'd need to consume more calories a day and exercise (as you mentioned before) in a way that would build lean mass against just gaining fat mass. :]

My doctor says I'm healthy weight for the way I am, but it gets a bit annoying, people constantly inquiring my weight, and asking if I get fed enough.

Healthy weight or not, if it's what you want to do they should advise you on how to do it in a healthy way. @_@

Yeah. The doctors look at me, and then my mum says something about me never exercising (which is a lie.) and not eating enough protein (also a lie. I eat more protein than the average teenaged male).

Maybe you should just... Switch bodies with me. Yeah. You could be heavy and uncute, it'd be a perfect swap. You'd also be tall, and probably able to crush all those annoying freshmen with your considerable new mass.

Sounds good. Actually, the main issue with being cute, is nobody takes me seriously. I'll be really angry, and they'll all be d'awwwing and hugging me, and patting me head.

iGrunny E M O Sounds good. Actually, the main issue with being cute, is nobody takes me seriously. About your weight, if you doctor isn't worried about it then you should be okay, it may simply just be the way that you are built. Before you start into an exercise plan if you decided to do that, talk to your doctor about what kind of exercise you should be doing and about how much you should do... smile gaining weight in a good way can be kind of hard becuase you want the weight to go to the right areas. Also high fat foods is never a good idea.

I'm the same way as you. I'm 5"6 and 100lb. I drop weight faster than I gain, so as soon as I slack off a little bit, the weight I worked hard to gain just melts away, frustrates me to no ends. If you are healthy, exercise regularly and otherwise have a healthy lifestyle, then I would not worry so much about your weight. If you really want to gain weight, it should be for a good reason.
