Bleach 1 is over and done! Thanks again for a great story. Bleach 2 is now open for business! Feel free to make your first post as soon as you read this! =D

--Forward/Premise--
Same as before, we will assume that this is an alternate universe. None of the characters we know and love from the Bleach mythos will exist in this RP...sorry, guys. OC's only! But don't fret! OC's are what you lot are best at, IMHO. Here's the rundown:
-There is no "human world," just the Soul Society and Hueco Mundo, opposite sides of the same coin.
-There's no futuristic tech of any kind. (Lightsabers will be comprised of a hilt that stores and emits reishi, kinda like those things that Uryu Ishida carries around.)
-There are six playable races: Soul Reaper, Hollow, Visored, Arrancar, Quincy, and Fullbringer.
-The Jedi have returned to Coruscant, their work done in Sereitei. No new Jedi or Sith, please.
-No new character can start out as a Visored or an Arrancar. You've gotta be a Soul Reaper or Hollow first sweatdrop Sorry, guys...I'm trying to avoid God-Moding.
-There are three power levels to each race:
Seated Officer, Lieutenant, and Captain. All other characters will be in comparison to the Soul Reapers.
-There's a new race playable: the versatile Fullbringers. PM me with questions if you wanna know more about them.
-There will be Hollows and Arrancar to fight, of course, but the primary villain is a new concept we're gonna try out.
-That's it, I guess. I'll write more as I think of them. Right now I'm working out story details. ^^

--Rules--
You all know what's up, already. So here's my one new rule. If we get a majority vote of people saying they don't like something that's going on in the RP for whatever reason...then each and every member is allowed to convene until a consensus is reached, and edit the offending party's posts accordingly. That includes mine, too. ^^ So, don't post something that'll piss people off and get attached to it.

--Story--
Drekovec the Screamer has been defeated at last, and peace has retuned to Sereitei. The Shinohoshi was confiscated and dismantled by the Jedi Knights, each piece completely destroyed. The Jedi have returned to their own home, a little wiser about the goings-on of Sereitei, and glad to have made allies of the Soul Reapers there. Daisuke Hideyaki has been appointed Jedi ambassador to the Gotei 13, but his involvement in their affairs is limited. Hollows and Arrancar are no longer judged as mindless monsters by their ancient enemies, but have begun to assimilate when able. Some of them still remain in pursuit of their own goals, however. A new threat rises against Sereitei, now, and the struggle of Hollow and Soul Reaper is deferred....

Full Bring Name: Indomitable Body and Incorruptible Soul
Full Bring Description: Indomitable Body (Just the armor ^^") and Incorruptible Soul (Made of blue energy and not metal). His Full Bring comes from his Ancestral Bracelet from when he was human.
Release Command: Raizu, sutando kaisha. (Rise and stand firm.)
Full Bring (Full Output): When he uses all of his Full Bring's power he can have all of the forms of Incorruptible Soul active at once.
Appearance: Reddo stands at 6' 7" and has medium length brown hair, red eyes, and lightly tanned skin He looks only to be 25. He always wears something similar to the captains' uniforms with the exception that the black is blue. He also wears a bracelet around his wrist carrying the symbol of his old life, it is in the shape of a flaming black cross and blue wings.
Special Powers: Nourishes himself on the reitsu around him and can bend others' kido spells and strengthen them with his will.
Additional: Incorruptible Soul is a part of Indomitable Body. Incorruptible Soul can also become spirit wings and a spirit shield, all of which are also made of the same blue energy. Spirit Wings and Spirit Shield

Race: Soul Reaper (Jedi Knight)
Power Level: Captain
Rival: Akihime. Though they differ in opinions and fighting styles, the two are fast friends, whose relationship has been tested by fire and come out stronger. They constantly sharpen themselves against each other.
Zanpakuto Name: Yamato (Order/ Tradition)
Zanpakuto Description: A white bound katana, with a slightly above-average blade length. This Jedi zanpakuto is distinct in that it takes the form of a katana when sealed, and becomes a lightsaber only when released. In its Shikai form, it looks identical to its original appearance, except the steel has been replaced with blue reishi, and the tsuba has become a shroud. Its Shikai's special ability is to extend greatly and become flexible, much like a bullwhip.
Release Command: Vivisect
Bankai: Yamato-Maru (Perfect Order) The blade vanishes, and is replaced by lightweight gauntlets and grieves that pulsate with spiritual pressure from many sources. Once this Bankai is activated, all spiritually-powered combatants within Daisuke's range of sensing are stripped of their spiritual power. Yamato-Maru condenses and redistributes it evenly, so that all participants in a battle are forced to fight on even terms. However, this Bankai restricts Daisuke to use of hand-to-hand combat, and leaves him quite drained when Yamato is resealed.
Appearance: A tall, imposing figure, with a shock of wild white hair, and piercing blue eyes. Wears a Soul Reaper white haori with no insignia over Jedi ceremonial garb, to represent his position of honor in both societies.
Special Powers: A connection with the Force, which no one but Jedi and Sith can experience.
Additional: Was sent by the Jedi council to infiltrate Sereitei and keep an eye on Sith activity nearby. Joined the Soul Reapers in their defeat of Drekovec's marching Arrancar and Hollow militia, and helped Soul Reapers the world over learn to accept and befriend even the most unlikely allies.

Appearance: Average height, with a wiry build. Flowing brown hair, tied back for combat. Wears loose-fitting clothes fit for desert travel most of the time, and a Quincy ceremonial cassock for a more formal setting, when appropriate.
Special Powers: Akihime is actually half Soul Reaper, sired by Kousuke Suzuki. She possesses no zanpakuto and cannot currently use shunpo, but Kido comes as easily to her as her Quincy's craft. Additionally, she can don a Hollow mask, which vastly augments her speed, stamina, and physical strength, and increases her energy output to the point where her Quincy bow cannot condense it into arrows. Instead, she attacks with giant lances of reiryoku.
Additional: Had previously gained access to Hueco Mundo on several occasions, and constantly pursued the Vasto Lorde that ruled Las Noches, to avenge the deaths of most of the Quincy. At some point along her travels, she suffered a near-death experience that ultimately resulted in the manifestation of an Inner-Hollow. After a brief time in the spotlight as an alleged traitor to Soul Society, she was able to prove her innocence of the crime she supposedly committed, and helped bring down the ones responsible. Is a fast friend of most of Sereitei's Soul Reapers, and even a few of the new Hollow residents.

Rival: Anyone trying to hurt the one he's protecting.
Zanpakuto Name: Rōn'urufu Moeru (Blazing Lone Wolf)
Zanpakuto Description: Sealed: Default shinigami zanpakto, Shikai: Becomes two gauntlets with the tips of the fingers being bladed claws.
Release Command: Burn Alone
Bankai: Honoo ōkami no yoroi (Flame Wolf's Armor)
Primary Ability: The shikai gauntlets become a bit longer and Meiso gains a suit of hardened red leather armor from head to toe. The helm is in the shape of a wolfs' head, the chest piece has two furred shoulders, he has a wolf pelt around his waist and the boots are in the shape of an elongated wolfs' paw. Increases speed and makes flaming streaks in the air, called Bureizu Tsume (Blaze claw: Like Getsugatensho except red and fiery).
Secondary Ability: The first attack form bankai becomes red steel instead of red leather, the boots gain claws now as well, the pelt becomes a flaming tail, fire runs down the back of the armor from the top of the helmet to the base of the tail, and all claws are red hot. Retains all abilities of first form, but this form shows augmented speed and power at the expense of spiritual pressure. Can elongate claws, and can elongate and transform tail.
Strengths: Very fast, can elongate claws and tail to fight at close and mid range, and can transform tail into a different shape (Example: spear, blade, or hammer).
Weaknesses: Must halt movement to use Bureizu Tsume or when elongating/transforming tail or claws and cannot go full speed for short time after he stops.
Appearance: Meiso stands at 6' 1", has long black hair in a pony tail, has green eyes, and pale skin. He wears something like a Quincy would wear but red and black. He is always wearing a black cloak with a red scarf covering his mouth. He looks to be 34.
Special Powers: Feel his enemies hearts and see their memories to use as emotional weapons.
Additional: Meiso has a distinct hatred for Hollows and Quincies (But surprisingly not Quincy fashion.)

Fullbring Name: Laughing Mirror
Fullbring Description: Takes the form of a small, unbreakable crystal flash she wears around her neck. When her Fullbring is used, a small portion of mercury held within the flask escapes and hardens to form a round shield, which can be thrown as a projectile. Its true power comes from its use as a shield. It instantly changes forms to mirror any weapon that pierces it, and allows Chouku to use any powers or abilities enjoyed by the original weapon's wielder, so long as the wielder is conscious and near Chouku. When she laughs, Chouku is able to "recall" any weapon Laughing Mirror has mimicked.
Appearance: A lot like this.
Special Powers: When she laughs, Chouku is able to "recall" any weapon Laughing Mirror has mimicked. However, this ability is temperamental and quite dependent on her mood during its use.
Additional: Lives in a quadrant of the Rukon district called Yamanote, where humans have pooled their resources to build a high-end community not unlike Sereitei in terms of wealth, but with a distinctly European motif.

Zanpakuto Description: A bell-guard rapier. When released, amazing wings of bony spines form from his back and are composed of the hard-as-rock material that covers all Arrancars during Resureccion.
Release Command: Caigase de los cielos, Angel de Espinas!
Appearance: A tall, dark man with a thin and simple frame and bright eyes.
Special Powers: A pseudo-negacion done with his wings during Resureccion and a special cero called Cero Fino.
Additional: He considers the Arrancar his brothers but is put off by their negativity. He will protect them should they be in danger regardless of their reaction or treatment of him prior to that.

Zanpakuto Name: Ken no Arashi (Storm of Blades)
Zanpakuto Description: In it's sealed form it looks like a basic curved sword, with a star shaped handguard over the hilt. When released it takes the form of a dual-bladed straight sword, with etchings reminiscent of striking lightning. It enables the user to command electricity, and to some extent, the weather.
Bankai: Shūryō Ken no Arashi: The Bankai takes the form of a black storm cloud around the user, and enabled total control of local climate.
Its special ability is called Gyōko kaminari, and allows the wielder to draw in power and forge weapons made of solidified lightning and reishi.
Release Command: Storm
Appearance: Long black hair kept out of his face, with the black robe Soul Reapers are known for. Prefers not to wear the Captain insignia, unless on special occasions. Slender in build, with scars from many battles covering his body. Keeps the mask of a defeated Hollow from his younger years on the side of his head.
Special Powers: Can control weak Hollows for a limited time, mainly for distraction, but is learning to control stronger Hollows through meditation.
Additional: Is a Visored; the first Soul Reaper Captain to be such.

Character Name: Kenzo Atsushi
Race: Formerly Quincy, now Fullbringer

Fullbring Name: Spear of Hope
Fullbring Description: The Quincy Cross necklace around Kenzo's neck is the activator. Once it activates the cross splits in half and the halves embed themselves into Kenzo's palms. Now the ability is that once these cross halves are in his palms he can summon blue and white spears that he can use, throw, and re summon again.
Release Command: Let there be hope!
Appearance: Medium length black hair, brown eyes, somewhat goofy but serious when it comes to battle. Still wears classic blue and white Quincy attire for battle.
Special Powers: Once wore a Sanrei Glove. Lost his Quincy art in the last battle. In order to improve his close combat, he studied Kido with his sister.
Additional: He is Akihime's brother, and the only son of Kousuke. A Hollow's attack against his mother gave him his Fullbring, but the Quincy art has hidden it for years.

Zanpakuto Name: Cenizas de Sangria (Gore's Ash, or Ashes of Bloodletting)
Zanpakuto Description: An extensive bladed greatsword, the blade a bright glowing purple and leather bound hilt a deep red-brown with a diamond shaped pommel. It leaves an ashy trail in the air when swung that tends to stick to skin or especially open wounds, and sting.
Release Command: Cleave
Appearance: Normal: The right eye is a blood crimson color with a remnant of his mask framing it from his temple, while the left eye is a feral yellow-orange color and sports a tribal tattoo on the skin around it. Ash-like pallor of skin and hair is a maroon shade, reaching the back of his neck. Wears his Arrancar robes around others, though he prefers to either wear a kilt-like version of it when alone.
Resurrección: Hollow-esque bones cover his arms and chest in scale-like fashion, his hands and feet take on a reptilian look with small, bony claws, and he sprouts a Komodo-dragonlike tail with boney spines running along the top.
Special Powers: His Blood can be used as a formidable weapon when accented and amplified with his thoughts and power. It can be used like acid or even as tiny droplet daggers.
Additional: Becoming a resident of the Soul Society, he's taken to being a researcher in his always available spare time. Alongside that, he's devoted himself to a personal quest to track down his former Arrancar "friends", hoping to find their intentions.

Zanpakuto Name: Ookami no Keiji (Wolf of the Apocalypse) / Odio Desenfrenado (unbridled hatred)
Zanpakuto Description: A nodachi, the blade a cool blue and the hilt wrapped in cured leather for a comfortable grip. The hand-guard is in an uncharacteristic basket shape to protect the hand. When released into shikai form, it becomes a fiery double-sided glaive, one blade black and the other white. / In its sealed form, the hilt is a smooth black cylinder, with a barely visible grip contour. The blade is a deep Sith-traditional crimson. Its minimalistic design mirrors the simplicity of its former master's mission.
Release Command: Augur / Eviscerate
Bankai: Tokihanata Reta Ookami no Keiji: The blades vanish, to be replaced by several long tethers. At the ends of these tethers are flaming wolves, controlled by Captain Suzuki's reiatsu.
Appearance: Sandy brown hair cut to 3 1/2". Thin blond beard that has grown out a tiny bit from his face. Bright aqua colored eyes, always happy. A scar runs from his jawline to the bottom of his left ear, a mark from a previous battle years ago. Average height and build with muscular arms to hold his zanpakuto. Wears traditional Soul Reaper robes and sandals, sporting a much longer jacket than normal, torn at the hem.
Special Powers: Can dual-wield his own zanpakuto with that of his dead childhood friend, Drekovec, and release either one, or both.
Additional: With the events in Seireitei he's spent far more time in the city then usual instead of traveling. He's become more somber as well, a result of his brief death and revival. And he likes eating Easter color candy.

Character Name: Maria Nehire

Zanpakuto Name: Tsukiakari (Moonlight)
Zanpakuto Description: A lightweight and double bladed (as in sides) kris, the hilt bound in a spring green cloth and the blade a bright polished silver. When released, it basically looks the same, but with a soft white glow, as Maria is in a constant release form.
Release Command: Fade
Bankai: Onkou Tsukiakair: Maria's bankai takes and enhances her special power. It allows her to disappear from sight at will and when not cloaked, her form shimmers in the air like a mirage, confusing the opponent's eyes. An added bonus to her invisibility is that she's able to move faster while invisible and hide all traces of her spiritual energy, though it consumes it much faster. Either usage drains her of much energy to begin with and she'll collapse when the bankai ends.
Appearance: Light, flaxen colored hair reaching the middle of her back and sky-blue eyes. Fairly pale skin. A moderate height and a thin body build. She wears the traditional Soul Reaper robes, but trimmed at the bottom for an easier movement style. Her sandals are also altered, strapping across her bare feet and ankles instead of the strap between her two toes.
Special Powers: She can, at times of increasing stress or anxiety in battle, mask her physical appearance with her reiatsu, almost but not quite like invisibility.
Additional: She has a perfect memory. Currently she is practicing and honing her Soul Reaper capabilities, hoping to become more powerful and participate in a wider scope of future battles.

Zanpakuto Name: Mokusuta (Light)
Zanpakuto Description: In sealed form it is a normal white katana-shaped hilt, with blue fabric woven around it, and a white circular guard in between the hilt and the blade. It sports a blue lightsaber blade. In Shikai form it turns into a full lightsaber.
Release Command: Unleash
Bankai: In Bankai form it multiplies into two lightsabers that Chron can sport in his hands or control them with the Force. Bankai form also increases his strength and power to do more advanced Force power and advanced Kido powers. But the Bankai form only lasts for three minutes.
Appearance: Short dark brown hair, bluish-gray eyes, always has a positive and determined look on his face. Wears Jedi robes with master insignia on the back of the outfit.
Special Powers: None revealed, apart from a connection with the Force.

Zanpakuto Description: N/A
Release Command: N/A
Bankai: N/A
Appearance: Stands at 5'11". Short light gray hair unnatural for his age that has been cut with small layers, and when brushed back, is slightly spiky. Jade-green eyes. He wears the usual Quincy attire with some alteration, the sleeves being cut off from the tunic to show bare muscled skin, as well as the pants and cape being dark blue instead of white. On the left half of his face is a blue cross tattoo. A thin belt around his waist holds a Quincy bangle for random use.
Special Powers: Basic Quincy abilities such as Hirenkyaku and archery, though unlike most of his race he prefers to swordfight with Seele Schneiders instead of ranged attacks. However due to his extraordinary powers of reiryoku absorption, he has almost completely mastered Ransōtengai and uses it only when he becomes severely injured in battle with ease so as to not make the battle unfair.
Additional: Imprisoned for his own good by his Quincy brethren when their race was nearly decimated and he became unstable with revenge, he's since claimed that they've let him walk with no ill intent. Save for the fact that he keeps his background an immense secret, he seems to change into a completely different person at varying times, most noted during battle.

Zanpakuto Name: Glacial (Freezing, pronounced "glah-SEE-all")
Zanpakuto Description: A naginata with an ornate crystalline grip along the handle in three sections. The blade is a cool cobalt color.
Release Command: Subdue
Bankai: N/A
Appearance: Eh, too lazy to come up with something original. Just picture Grimjoww with lazuli hair and part of a mask hanging like a necklace instead of being on his cheek.
Special Powers: Can alter the temperature of the air around him by firing his Cero, which is below freezing. His Resurrecion encases him in crystalline armor much like the shaft of his zanpakuto, which vanishes upon release. Heat makes him weak and sluggish, if there is enough to overpower his mastery of ice. (Protip: It will take combined efforts of at least two Soul Reapers with fire powers to negate his ability =3)
Additional: Is quite cool and laid back, treating each and every battle like an idle game. He especially loves taunting Soul Reapers with fire-type zanpakuto. Has become defacto leader of the Espada, since Drekovec's defeat. Sometimes speaks Spanish rather than English.

Zanpakuto Name: Sokudo (speed/swift)
Zanpakuto Description: Sealed, it looks like a normal katana with fire emblazoned on the distinctly European-styled hand-guard. Released, it becomes a full-length gauntlet with a double-edged blade approximately 3.5 feet long extending from the forearm, with fire patterns on the gauntlet. Wielded on the right arm
Release Command: Ignite
Bankai: Kasoku Sokudo: A second, reverse-patterned copy of the gauntlet and blade appear on his left arm. Speed dramatically increases beyond most normal Captain's Bankai, earning the "Flash" part of his nickname.
Appearance: Slender in build, around 6', shoulder length brown hair. prefers the traditional Captains' robes, but tailored down to create less drag.
Special Powers: Can control and conjure fire, earning him the Dragon in his nickname. Often, he intentionally leaves flame trails when he runs, as a joke
Additional:Loves to swim.

Race: De-powered Soul Reaper/Visored

Zanpakuto Name: Gekido Komori-ka (Blazing Lullaby)
Zanpakuto Description: Its sealed form is a reddish-golden katana. In it's shikai it is a blade that closely resembles the buster sword. It has a black blade with a flaming pattern that sticks to the sharpened edge going all the way to the end.
Bankai: Not achieved.
Release Command: Bind with Flames
Appearance: She has long blonde hair that covers the left side of her face. the one eye that you can see is blue and her left eye is green because she is heterochromial. this is the reason she keeps one side of her face covered at all times. Wears a black kimono most of the time.
Special Powers: Formerly, she could use Resurreccion, rather than Bankai, as taught by Drekovec after mastering her inner-Hollow. Unfortunately, she was defeated before the full potential of this power could be explored. It is unknown if she would still possess this ability.
Additional: After her manipulation and alteration by Drekovec and his minions, she turned against Soul Society and fought as Espada #1. After her defeat at the hands of Chron and Akihime, she was spared and nursed back to health in Sereitei. It was discovered that she had been changed from within into a weapon for the Hollow's purposes. During an attempt to recreate her as she was before the change, her body sealed all her spiritual power away within Gekido Komori-ka, and she took the form of a child. She is returning to her former adulthood at a much faster rate than any growing child, but her zanpakuto and Hollow mask are completely inaccessible to her until such a time as she can return to her original form. She has no memory at all of her actions for the past several years.

Zanpakuto Description: A yumi bow, decorated with stars and crescent moons. The main body of the bow is black, with silver trim, and a thin black chain in place of a string. Fires arrows of red reishi that behave much like Quincy spirit arrows.
Release Command: Peirce
Bankai: N/A
Appearance: Floor-length black hair in a massive braid, beaded with glowing stars. Wears longer and baggier than normal Arrancar robes that hide her bow and arrows.
Special Powers: The dominant Hollow of this Arrancar was once a Quincy, so she emulates most of their powers. A few of the Ginto spells are inaccessible to her. Her Resurrection coats her in form-fitting armor and allows her to launch spirit bolts from numerous floating stars and moons that orbit her.
Additional: Was the one responsible for Kousuke's murder, and helped frame Akihime for the crime. She has eluded justice, and now joins the remainder of the Espada, minus Higlark, Allie, and Kaizeloye, in trying to make sense of the wake left by her master's defeat.

Zanpakuto Description: A large, razor-sharp dancer's ring, with a katana-like grip at one quadrant of the round. Has violet ribbons and bells hanging from it, tied across the blade. The bells ring more and more violently with the amount of spiritual power Bronwyn uses.
Release Command: Careen
Bankai: N/A
Appearance: An object of absolute beauty with olive skin, and wavy auburn hair, shoulder-length. Wears Arrancar robes that have been trimmed back to be more form-fitting and revealing.
Special Powers: Is able to dance at such fast speeds that the eye cannot track her, once she has released her zanpakuto. In her Hollow form, she appears mostly human, with a light robe covering her body.
Additional: Little is known about this Arrancar. She keeps to herself mostly, and so far has not participated actively in any significant battle.

Zanpakuto Description: It is a 4 ft. long katana with a dark red blade. The hilt is solid black with a Shuriken-like hand gaurd.

Appearance: A slim figure, covered in Hollow-esque bones, he resembles Grimmjow's released form but he's not as powerful. he has long dark purple hair and a single red eye glares from behind the left side of his mask, and his right eye is hidden by a headband.
Special Powers: He is able to control the air currents. he can swing his zanpakuto and unleash a wave of air that is razor sharp. he has gained the nickname Windstorm.

It has always been the deep breath before the plunge. The world has always been on the verge because this is what it means to survive, this is what it means to exist. Not even gods can escape this fact of life and it's one rule: Fight for your survival. It has been ten thousand long years since I have remembered this and now the time is running out to find one to survive after me. What we leave behind can be said to be as important as what we take with us. Now is the time for me to act or else all shall fall along with me. We all face oblivion.

The sun was high in the sky, the trees swayed in the wind and all was peaceful. A man in his twenties was standing on a patio watching the wind blow through the fields and forests. "Meiso..." A small man was kneeling not far away.

"Yes, lord?" Meiso did not look up but merely replied.

"It's time. I must go to Sereitei...and find the one who I shall leave behind. My time is slipping away." The man stood solemnly showing no expression.

Meiso had a worried look upon his face but did not look up, continuing to kneel and bow his head. "If his lordship so pleases, I shall go and prepare the gate."

The man gave no reply as Meiso flash-stepped away. "All things face oblivion. Even gods must die." He disappeared leaving a small trace of light.

The air was cool and crisp, the way Akihime remembered it before the Hollow's began their attacks, sent by their master Drekovec. The Sith Lord was a few years dead, and his supporters had all disappeared. Occasionally, a Hollow or two would pop up and stir up trouble, but the issue was always solved quickly and without incident. Akihime notched and drew a long blue arrow, releasing it into the air. A target was set up some miles away, with a margin of error less than two millimeters wide. Perfect accuracy was a must. Her Hollow mask gave her great strength indeed, but sometimes, precision was the best approach to solving a problem. Akihime felt it was paramount for her to master her bow to a one-millimeter-wide margin of error, and she had her reasons. As the next arrow flew to its target, piercing it like a needle with minimal damage. She used Hirenkyaku to get a closer look at the target. She clucked in disappointment when she saw that the tiny red dot she intended to hit was still intact. Frustrated, she decided to go and visit her father while he worked.

Ossman sat on one of the sandy hills outside Las Noches and looked upon the vaste, empty expanse. He sighed heavy and played with the sand under him. Very little was to happen today, or at least nothing with any great importance to him. It seemed that the hollows were sleepy this morning and the menos were just as dozy because there was little activity in the desert of Hueco Mundo. This is taking into consideration, of course, that the desert was hardly ever really active but it seemed more dead today. "How bothersome, no one to mess around with. If it weren't for my br--" He stopped himself, "The other arrancar and espada being so busy, it might be a more fun filled time around here, we'd need it."

As it always had been, the office of Captain Suzuki was a complete mess. However instead of the usual ritual, Kousuke was not submerged in the avalanche and neither was he being pestered by his lieutenant, Mitsubishi. He was dozing peacefully away from the pressure, his head nodding as he sat facing a pair of headstones he visited frequently. His hand clutched two zanpakutos as his eyes flickered underneath his eyelids.

Maria was quietly shifting papers in a corner of the captain's office when Mitsubishi burst in, red faced and looking harried as she called for Kousuke. She'd been given permission to root through his various travel notes to improve her Soul Reaper abilities. But as soon as the lieutenant burst into the room, Maria involuntarily hid herself from view with her own personal ability. Though she was constantly improving her social skills, that was one person she wasn't able to face quite yet.  

[Frog Apocalypse]

Zero sat alone in a forest outside of the walled city, concentrating on lengthening the time he could hold his hollowfication. So far he could manage a full minute, but beyond that seemed impossible to attain. The hollofication still felt odd to him, the dark reishi that he emitted being a stark contrast to his usual dark blue.

Akihime knocked softly on the door to Kousuke's office as she peered inside. Her line of sight was filled with her father's usual clutter of unsorted or undone paperwork. Forcing the door open against a stack of overdue paperwork, she stepped inside to see if her father was napping. She sensed Maria's presence, but could not see the young girl. She had taken note of the black zanpakuto Kousuke carried now next to his own, and shuddered with unpleasant remembrance. Thankfully he and it were gone. She strode over to the desk where the sleepy man would normally be found relaxing, and thumped the surface of it hard, knocking papers over in droves.

Maria watched as the distracted lieutenant left very shortly after arriving and almost breathed a sigh of relief, until Akihime entered. Used to her through the time she'd met her, it still took Maria a moment to slow her beating heart. "Akihime..." She called shyly to the woman as her body reappeared then gave her a quick wave. "Captain Suzuki went out again."

Akihime frowned.
"Oh, really? Well, let's go find him!" she invited with a wave of her hand. She felt around for her father's spiritual signature, and began to get a heading. She wandered over to the grassy hills he sometimes visited. Seeing the tired-looking man, she waved enthusiastically.

Maria nodded silently and trotted after Akihime, leaving the scribbled notes in their messy organized way. There was always plenty of time to study them later she supposed.

Even in his half-asleep state, Kousuke was able to dully recognize two familiar spiritual beings entering the small radius he was aware of. He opened his eyes with a blink, then another as he looked to see Akihime and Maria approaching. Smiling in response to the wave he dug a hand into the bag next to him, popping a small candy into his mouth to suck on, the sugar chasing away his drowsiness.

"It's good to see you, Father. What have you been up to?" Akihime said as she plopped down in the grass beside him. She eyed a tree in the distance, and began to draw an arrow, sighting along her outstretched arm as her bow materialized. With a strange spectral sound, she let fly the arrow, and was pleased to see the tree felled instantly. She frowned again in thought, and turned to Kousuke.
"Father, what do you know about us? The Quincies, I mean. There's much I'd like to learn about our craft, but no one to learn it from. What was Mother like?"

On the hill top where Kousuke sat a large spiritual pressure field formed. A door was opening. Out of it stepped three people. "Sereitei. How very serene." the man seemed to be completely unaware of the other three on the hill top.

"Please show more prudence my lord. It seems we have a few guests." Meiso had his guard up but was unafraid. He hadn't liked the idea of this in the first place. It was too sudden.
