Tochiga, Hanzo
[ll Jounin // Main Class: Bukijutsu // Subclass: Bloodline // AC: 7500 // Ryo: 1408 // CP: 235/270 ll]

Grief did not ebb from his heart to say the least. Blood that once ripped warmly over his head and torso section it now started stiffen his movements. Obviously, cold exposure upon bodily liquids was not the wisest to keep. His hair fell from his usual style and fell long past and over his shoulders. The fringe that separated the tip and end allowed the rest of his hair to mask the severely damaged side of his face. Bandages that grew wet from his blood flopped down under his neck. But he went on, fully determined to at least find closure. Especially with the cold metal that was clutched in Hanzo's grip. Akatsuki's band. And his Anbu mask hung around his sash for the purpose of upholding his late friend's memory. He was weary. So jaded. Thoughts of death were welcomed with neutral thoughts. All meant nothing. Nothing, they had all gone. His home, his companions, and his conviction. Above everything else, Keiji too was gone.

Golden eyes furiously searched the landscape here and there. Often stumbling over obvious rocks due to his constant amount of collapse. At this point, he was becoming anemic. Having difficulty now focusing on his sight. Images of his father came to his side. His soft voice giving him firm encouragement. He felt his throat heave in upcoming sobs. How could he find solace? His shoulders rocked with a sliver undertone. Tears slid effortlessly over his dirty face. Without knowing as he still staggered in his walking, he slumped against the nearest tree. Where, unbeknownst to him was where Keiji had taken refuge. The snow fasted over his shoulders and scalp. He hardly even noticed even as the male had fell again. This time to the side, veering his heaving flank around the tree where...

Weak chips of gold and orange suddenly seemed alive. Despite the male's limp form, it was a joy to be pictured. With new found strength in his elated happiness Hanzo heaved himself over and brought Keiji back up. Tearing off a layer of his Furisode to cover him from the light cascading snow in his best efforts. With a bloody finger, he combed aside any needless bang of Keiji's, leaving a clumsy stain or two just to see his face. His body was getting progressively colder. Hanzo sighed. Already having his mind made up to transfer the last of his heat energy to Keiji's before he would become dead carrion anyway. He smiled anyway, gently craning up his love's head to plant him the kiss he had long since dreamed of doing. Then loosened his outer sash and slip, exposing his torso to the mid and simply embraced him. He funneled some parts of his chakra to elevate that process only moderately. If anything, he at least wanted him to die warm or until by some luck someone could find him. As for Hanzo, his death couldn't have been more appropriate. Serving his leader for the final, truest time. "..so bothersome. I should have never left you." For minutes, and minutes his hold on his one sided embrace was beginning to weaken. The cold was taking it's toll on Hanzo as his head then lolled to the side along with the rest of his silvery hair. His eyes closed, unconscious but seemingly content. If there was anything he could regret now, it was for not saying.. "I love you."

~ Keiji Chiba ~ Seer of the North ~ Yukigakure ~ Yukikage (Jounin) ~ Genjutsu/Sensor ~

Chakra Pool: 590 ~ AC: 44,900 ~ Ryo: 700

It seemed as if this really would be the end. Keiji would be frozen and buried in snow, becoming apart of the land he had tried to govern and protect. It was hard to know that he had tried his best and yet it had not been enough. The only solace he could take was that the citizens and shinobi were safe... especially Hanzo.

As he drifted further and further into sleep, he did not realize that someone familiar was approaching. If he were more aware, the chakra signature would be one he knew quite well. He was so cold and covered in snow, that he could not even feel as this person embrace him. But then... he was starting to warm up. It was nothing dramatic but it was enough to rouse his mind back into consciousness. Enough to hear those three words.

Opening his eyes, he saw familiar silver bangs. One of the last shinobi that had been loyal to him, even to this very end. It seemed the other thought he would die warming his former kage. As tired as they both might be, this was no way to end it, not yet. Maybe one day they would both die and brought back to Yuki for a proper burial, but not today. There may be yet more they had to do before that time. "I told you to go..." sighed Keiji, moving to stand, not wanting Hanzo to die because of him.

He held the younger male in a bridal style manner, holding him close to his body to try and keep him warm. Trudging through the snow and harsh weather of Yuki was no easy task, but Keiji was determined. He would leave this land and take them to Takumi, where they could rest, recover, and plan for their future.

Tekkou would find himself somewhere very unfamiliar but why would he stop now. He didn't even consider it but rather he followed his gut and his eyes traveling randomly in the direction he thought lead to something interesting. This was quite risky but it was more entertaining then sitting around in the village doing nothing. So he continued onwards.
PostPosted: Mon Apr 08, 2013 9:44 pm
Soon enough Tekkou would arrive at the mountains he had wandered through the first time. How exactly he made his way past them he didn't know. From the looks of it people could get lost for days with in them. It didn't scare him, as he just pushed on ahead going right along the path. Eventually he would arrive at the other side and head towards the water country.

Jurei made his way to what appeared to be a thick lining of mountains heavily frosted over. The many cracks and crevices forced him to stay on his toes as he swiftly made his way around them searching about. He stopped for but a moment and knelt down running his gloved fingers through the snow. Hmm just simple snow I guess. Sometimes things are just that simple. he thought to himself as he peered through the holes in his mask. It was rather pleasing to the eyes, but he had no time to dilly dally, there was work to be done. It was on to the next location.

It appeared Whise has evaded his pursuers for now, it would be fairly difficult for them to track him without any scent or trails for such a long distance. He couldn't even see Oto anymore. He quickly made a pit stop and changed into his normal gear. It didn't go quite as planned to Lucius face would be known to some of Oto. Lucius needed to go into hiding for a while. After he changed and made sure all his equipment was ready he took off again. Reactivating his disruption technique so not even sensors could pick him up. Then doubly he activated his snow armor at an S rank amount for protection. He then took off again. His destination? Gimangakure.

~Mission Details~

As the twin bandits neared the area where Belamos's intel stated the compound was, they would find themselves on a ridge looking down into a valley. Nestled in the foot of it, near a wide flowing river, was the place they were looking for. The estate of Lord Dono was both well armed and well defended. A double layer of walls protected a veritable citadel in the middle. Guards on the parapets and all major entrances could be seen, however, without further means to search the area it was impossible to get a approximate number from this point. Belamos's intel said that the gold was inside a Vault at the lowest level of the main building and that there were likely to be traps. This mission would undoubtedly test the duo's cat-burglary abilities

__ According to the provided mission info, someone had definitely done some research and scouting ahead of time. At least that saved him and Nezumi a butt load of effort. Kozo stared at the fortress located in the bottom of the valley below. This little late-night stroll under a starry, moonless night would be of some use for infiltration. Guard posts were easy to spot from here, considering they were all lit with torches and the like. "Oi, Nezumi... remember the Yagiri castle heist?" It was just the two of them here, so there was no issue using their real names, "Think you can make a few loud bangs against their wall to get their attention from up here?" Kozo was of course referring to one of the fortresses in the Land of Iron they stole from in their earlier teenage years. It wasn't as easy with the rest of the Ukore already scattered, but just the two of them were more than enough. With the cover of the night, the enemy wouldn't be able to easily tell where Nezumi's arrows were coming from, and even if they did... it'd probably be way too late. In the midst of the confusion, Kozo could carve a path into the castle, take out any of the guards that hadn't been sent to the part of the fort that was under attack, and finish things up by grabbing the loot and increasing the body count as necessary. Yagiri castle had... no survivors after the two of them finished. It was likely that the same would be the case this time too. After all, Belamos did say to make sure that they weren't "seen". Dead people weren't all the useful for seeing or telling anything, in his experience.

They had pretty much all of the night to begin the operation, so he'd give Nezumi plenty of time to prepare. In the meantime, Kozo decided to do a little work of his own. That Takumi guy gave him a great idea back there. Now it was time to see if it could be effectively put into practice. All he had to do was figure out how to make a dense, widely spreading fog with his suiton chakra.
**LEARNING - Kirigakure no Jutsu [ Hidden Mist Technique ] [ D-Rank | Suiton | 1/4 Posts ]

Although, at the same time, Kozo remembered how annoying it was to be blinded by such a simple technique. Takumi, however, seemed to have no problem attacking from within the mist. Sure, he didn't move around much so it made things pretty easy to predict an offensive maneuver. That didn't rule out the likelihood that there was some trick to seeing through that frozen mist.
**LEARNING - Kiri Shikaku no Jutsu [ Mist Vision Technique ] [ D-Rank | Suiton | Passive | 1/4 Posts ]

Kozo figured that imagery was mostly important for using a technique. At least, that was the case for any other jutsu he'd learned so far. Sure sure, he had to make sure to mold his chakra correctly, and blah blah. However, if he couldn't get the water chakra to take the form of a thick fog then what was the point?
**LEARNING - Kirigakure no Jutsu [ Hidden Mist Technique ] [ D-Rank | Suiton | 2/4 Posts ]

He stood at the edge of that cliff contemplating for a bit. His thoughts were split between both making the mist and figuring out a way to not be hindered by it. Kozo thought back to his little warmup with Takumi, trying to find any possible hints. It wasn't impossible to see through, but definitely much much more difficult than even normal fogs and mists.
**LEARNING - Kiri Shikaku no Jutsu [ Mist Vision Technique ] [ D-Rank | Suiton | Passive | 2/4 Posts ]

Shigeo played around with the twelve basic hand seals they taught him at the Otogakure academy. He learned a little about them back with the Ukore since there were a few ninja in the ranks there too. As he now recalled, there was one who had come all the way from the Hidden Mist Village and joined up. That guy also had a technique that created fogs.
**LEARNING - Kirigakure no Jutsu [ Hidden Mist Technique ] [ D-Rank | Suiton | 3/4 Posts ]

So that was why all of this seemed so familiar. The guy claimed that it was actually a really basic technique from where he came from. With that in mind, Kozo figured he was probably just overthinking stupidly simple s**t. That probably also meant that it wouldn't be too hard to be able to see through those kinds of visual hindrances if he focused properly. Alright, then he'd just have to approach this with a simple mind and that would probably get him the desired results.
**LEARNING - Kiri Shikaku no Jutsu [ Mist Vision Technique ] [ D-Rank | Suiton | Passive | 3/4 Posts ]

So, ******** it all to hell and back. Kozo decided to just do this like he did most things- sink or swim. So far he was a pretty good floater so he'd just get right into the hand seals he figured were best suited for this process. His chakra was aptly applied and his focus sincere. Being the abusively lucky ******** he was, Kozo smirked as he watched a success develop before his eyes. A dense fog would roll in upon the valley floor. Kozo actively controlled the mist's advance to make it seem more natural, gradually reaching the point where it completely hindered vision in and around the entire area.
**LEARNED - Kirigakure no Jutsu [ Hidden Mist Technique ] [ D-Rank | Suiton | 4/4 Posts ]

It probably wouldn't do him too much good from up here where the Hidden Mist Technique's effects were thinnest. However, it did give him an opportunity to actually try peering through the veil. It wouldn't be long before his eyes adjusted to be able to see nearly as clearly as he could before the technique was used. It was kinda like adjusting to be able to see in the dark, but not.
**LEARNED - Kiri Shikaku no Jutsu [ Mist Vision Technique ] [ D-Rank | Suiton | Passive | 4/4 Posts ]

Well whatever, Nezumi would have no problem picking targets since they still had those torches giving away locations and positions below. "Whenever you're ready, partner." Kozo would take a moment to crack his knuckles and stretch a little. It was both a shame and blessing that Belamos wasn't here to see the extent of their tag-team's full power. Less bragging rights, but more aces up his sleeve.

__ Entrusting his old friend to do his part in distracting the helpless fools now caught in a dense fog, Kozo aggressively advanced on the fortress in the valley below. In moments he would be upon its walls, stopping only long enough to unleash a pulsing wave of his shoton chakra through it and a large mass of the fog. The obstacles before him crystallized with near-instant rapidity, many guardsman and other bystanders as well. Effortlessly, he passed through the crystal mass as he regained momentum. Three crystal clones of himself emerged behind him as he exited the large, flat, mirror-like surface. The hand seals for each technique completed on his way through the giant crystal cancer that had grown on the area. The four would split up to spread their mayhem and murder at quadruple the speed. Unlike what would be considered "normal" for a crystal clone, these ones were as sturdy as solid iron. Their strikes would land against each confused and distracted foe with deadly accuracy and weight. Kozo wasn't a ninja, but he understood the principles of assassination and killing in general. As long as the enemy never saw him coming, and nobody was left alive to tell what happened here, Kozo knew he'd fulfill Belamos' orders. At least, that was good enough in his own book.

Kozo himself made his way deeper into the fortress, creating more and more clones along the way to form an entire invading force of practically invincible warriors. Okay, they weren't even close to that strong; however, compared to these poor fools who were dealing with the rain of explosive arrows, blinding mist, and attacks from every and any conceivable blind spot- they were screwed. The fog had easily seeped inside the buildings too, making it even harder to stop Kozo's vicious advances. There was no hesitation or remorse- only the thought of obtaining this wealth that wasn't his his own, yet. He wielded his katar to fell the guards stationed within the palace keep, not even staying its blade from the flesh of any innocents or bystanders regardless of the status of their existence. The lord had been woken in the midst of the confusion, but by the time he was prepared to face the situation his personal army dwindled to near-nothingness. The lavishly dressed pretend royalty was also cut down like all his subjects.

The rest of Kozo's intrusion was far more easy as the chaos of dying cries, screams and yells quelled into silence after all the explosions and whatnot. Kozo's clones continued to scour the area for any stragglers, and some rejoined him in the treasury. His bloodied, armored face lit up with an accomplished grin. "Power for wealth, wealth for power." He reminded himself of his adoptive father's wisdom as he meticulously cleaned out the treasury by sealing every coin and paper scrap of ryo away, as well as every other valuable so nicely showcased for his convenience. Even the hidden treasures couldn't hide for long after closer inspection from Kozo and his clones. He'd stroll back out the way he came, shattering the crystal structure he made before into a fine dust that would be lost to the winds of the storm he saw coming in the distance. His clones would disappear similarly on his way out of the fortress. Kozo regrouped with Nezumi for a moment, patting his friend on the shoulder and verifying his partner's cut from the job. They'd divvy it up later on. For now, Kozo would head back to Otogakure to let Belamos know that there was one helluva scene for the Daimyo to discover at some point in the future.
