Hi, I'm Cassie, and I like reading. Problem is, I read too fast, and have read every interesting book in my house, some twice (and there are a LOT). So I was hoping some of you could recommend some books for me to read. I prefer sci-fi, fantasy, adventure/action type books, but I'll read pretty much anything except romance and "teen literature".

Hm, let's see....*digs through bookshelf*
I'd recommend almost anything by Neil Gaiman, but especially American Gods and Mirrormask (the latter is also a fantastic movie, if I do say so myself).
There was this one book I once read, but unfortunately I cannot remember the title nor author. It was about a boy and his father who lived on a dragon reserve, if that helps any. sweatdrop

The Xanth series by Piers Anthony is pretty good from what I've read so far; I'm in the middle of the second book, Source of Magic, now.
Also, the Legend of Drizzt series by R.A. Salvatore. I LOOOOOVE that series!

Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card [[there are eight in the series, and they are slow reads, even for me, and I'm a hell of a reader c: ]] ~~ Genre = Sci-fi
Anything by Tamora Pierce ~~ She is an excellent author, and I like almost all of her books. Genre = Fantasy
Dark Mirror, by M J Putney. So good! Oh gosh. Genre = Fantasy Tiger's Curse by Collen Houck. I'm not done with it yet, but it's very good. Genre = Uhh..
Pathfinder by Orson Scott Card. Just read anything by him xD Excellent author. Genre = Fantasy/sci fi
I understand the reading like crazy bit xD I am an avid reader ~

:33 < If you like post-apocalyptic horror, Swan Song by Robert McCanon is a great read. One of my favorites. Nonfiction-wise, I loved She Said Yes: The Unlikely Martyrdom of Cassie Bernall by Misty Bernall.
