-shrug- I'm one of the few people that hasn't had a single problem with any of the games and thoroughly enjoyed them all. D;

The only qualm I have is that I'm not ******** waiting on a sequel to a game that's still kind of new-ish.

I want the sequel to Kingdom Hearts II since it's been SIX YEARS.

Squeenix is also losing money so a cheap, quick, cash-in using the same engine is a sure way to make money. If it sells even half as much as FFXIII did, but only costs 5-15% of the money to make, that's a hell of a profit.

FFXIII did really, really well in Japan.

It broke records on both sides of the pond. Which is ridiculous.

Why is there a sequel? Because Squeenix is aware of the fact that they can make utter drivel and everyone will adore it because of the nametag on it.

The release in North America was the absolute best first week that Square Enix has ever had with the Final Fantasy series. It did comparatively better in America than it did in Japan.

They barely had to do anything, really. They made XIII by way of designing a bunch of characters and locations, then throwing it together and adding in a plot afterwards. Which is why the plot makes no god damn sense.
