If this does happen, it would be a major victory! It really makes me happy, because NYC is one of many places I've considered moving to. Keep your fingers crossed!!! whee

I really hope this happens, too... I'm a native New Yorker and I love this state so much. I'd really want to see equal marriage passed here before I get married. And doing it by legislation would be amazing, on top of groundbreaking.
