Hey GGSA,
I apologize for the inactivity. I've just been going through a lot of stress lately. My boyfriend is leaving for the military in a few months, and news of his departure was just unbearable to me. I've gotten through it, and we're still going strong. *sigh* I just hope that strength can last the months he'll be gone. We broke up.
Anyway, I'll be visiting more frequently now. I promise.

At times like that, you need to be worrying about your life with your boyfriend rather than us

Thanks guys.
I've updated the OP. We broke up, because we agreed to spare us the misery that would've happened if we remained together. I will admit that I'm pretty sad about it, but, hey, I'll tough out this one. Hell, I know what he will be going through (since I used to be in the military), but at least he'll have a friend to write.

I think the important thing is that you understand you are sad, but you're dealing with it. A lot of people end up suppressing the pain or letting it consume them, which shouldn't happen but it does. Your empathy and willingness to be supporting him is beneficial not just for him, but for you as well. In the end, both of you will become stronger people. You go girl exclaim
