In case you hadn't heard, the U.N. declared that "there should be no discrimination or violence against people based on their sexual orientation." I find this interesting because there was a thread here a few months ago (I was going to post a link, but I couldn't find it sweatdrop ) about how they denied such protections to homosexuals. It will give them the right to document human rights abuse against us, as well as laws that punish us. It might not actually make these issues better on its own, but it is that vital first step.
