××××××××××××××××is the type to do a paired assignment herself, shunting her partner aside, if she doesn't want to associate with him/her.
××××××××××××××××EVERYTHING HAS TO BE PERFECT *FROTHS* For that matter, Vieve would rather fail at something herself, than fail with you;

××××××××××××××××Having been lying her face off since she was a tiny little girl, Vee is pretty good at cheating. It's not to say she won't get caught
××××××××××××××××out for it, of course, but old habits die hard and so things go. She likes making use of weak people, trying to sell them things like
××××××××××××××××stones or bits of glass or ANYTHING SHE CAN REALLY. She's also good at concocting sob stories and the like to get things out
××××××××××××××××of people, though well, word tends to get around. Vee may find herself treated like the boy who cried wolf, but she's a hopeless
××××××××××××××××repeat offender.. unless someone can break her of this habit.

××××××××××××××××Salamanders are fire elementals, which places them under the 'ghost' race. How are they different from ghosts, though? It's
××××××××××××××××simple: while ghosts are made up of ectoplasm, elementals are made up of.. elements! So salamanders are essentially
××××××××××××××××flames in the shape of a dragonlike creature. Considering that elementals are largely non-corporeal, what gives a salamander
××××××××××××××××its distinct dragonlike shape is its heart. Different fire elementals have different types of hearts, and salamanders typically
××××××××××××××××have crystalline (think rubies) hearts. Baby salamanders vaguely resemble this in terms of body shape, though the features
××××××××××××××××themselves are quite different. Mostly, salamanders are kind of spiky, and really really hot.
××××××××××××××××home is.. × habitat
××××××××××××××××Salamanders usually live in hot places, such as volcanoes. While they can survive fine in active volcanoes, dormant volcanoes
××××××××××××××××are typically considered prime real estate, as there is less disruption to daily life. On the other hand, extinct volcanoes are
××××××××××××××××SHUNNEDDDD. While salamanders prefer hot places, though, they can survive fine in other areas, the exceptions being cold/wet
××××××××××××××××areas. For that matter, salamanders are typically able to stand small-medium amounts of water, ie. rain, which usually evaporates
××××××××××××××××on contact. They still really hate the substance, though... Something like a waterfall or the sea would definitely kill a
××××××××××××××××salamander in its natural form.
××××××××××××××××friends and family × society
××××××××××××××××Salamanders live in clans; different clans have different physical features/characteristics. For example, Vieve's chainy-fire wings
××××××××××××××××are a mark of her clan. Each clan occupies one volcano- sharing is unheard of- and individual family units share a cavern dug
××××××××××××××××into the inside wall of a volcano. Leaving the volcano is not unheard of, but unless there are Very Good Reasons, returning
××××××××××××××××is expected. Otherwise, salamanders leaving the volcano will find themselves disallowed to return, should they desire to do
××××××××××××××××so later. Case in point: Vieve's parents left for Halloweentown to ~*~*chase their dreams*~*~, and are pretty much considered
××××××××××××××××embarrassments to their clan; they may no longer return. It's not that salamanders don't support dreams, but if your life's goal
××××××××××××××××is to write books... nahhh. That's also not to say that salamanders don't have their own culture, however. It's just that salamander
××××××××××××××××society (within a clan) is usually very close-knit, and wanting to leave forever feels like a sort of betrayal. Incidentally, it is
××××××××××××××××possible for salamanders to be exiled, should they commit serious crimes.
××××××××××××××××customs and traditions × culture
××××××××××××××××Salamanders have their own myths and lore, and stories are passed on to little salamanders- it's the equivalent of fairytales
××××××××××××××××(scarytales?) in the human world. They also celebrate a variety of things- some days there are celebrations for more than
××××××××××××××××one thing. Considering birthdays and the Fire Festival, amongst other things- there's usually something going on every
××××××××××××××××day. It should also be noted that different clans have different celebrations; clans living in active volcanoes may throw parties
××××××××××××××××to celebrate an eruption. In essence salamander society is rather joyful and.. cough, warm; they're not really very serious creatures.
××××××××××××××××In fact, being serious is usually frowned upon. The only exceptions are during moments of Great Danger, or some other kind of
××××××××××××××××trouble. It's not to say, however, that you can punch a salamander or steal something and expect him to still be happy- while
××××××××××××××××they're all for celebrating things, they usually have a strictly enforced moral code, and you might find the whole clan coming after
××××××××××××××××you. tl;dr salamander vs. salamander is a no-go, but salamander vs anything else? GO GET THEM BROS.
××××××××××××××××It should be noted, though, that Vieve didn't grow up in salamander society. Unlike her parents she is free to return to her
××××××××××××××××clan's volcano, if she so desires (and if she knows how to get there), but she is completely clueless about what normal salamanders
