Fuuinjutsu by and large comes in two varieties: those which are prepared ahead of time by writing out complex formulas, and those which are spontaneous with the sealing formula being created on the spot by an application of chakra. Creation of prepared fuuinjutsu on the battlefield is not recommended due to the vulnerability of the formula and the additional costs to one's chakra reserves. Scrolls are the most common material to be used for Fuuin and Fuuin-related storage. You may find the Fuuin-related materials in your local supply store or at Takumi's Scribes and Scraps!

___F u u i n L i m i t a t i o n s:
No Fuuinjutsu can be learned without first learning the fundamental two: Fūnyū no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ] and Kaifū no Jutsu [ Unsealing Technique ].

___F u u i n R a n k s:
There will be Fuuin labeled as 'Retrainable'. These mean they must be learned at the stated rank, and must be trained at higher ranks in order to use them at those ranks. These must be done in sequential order and for that rank's required post amount (reductions are applicable). This differs from X-Rank techniques, which can be used at any rank as soon as they’re learned at their base rank. There are also Fuuin that are labeled as a set rank; their rank cannot be increased with additional training.

___X - R a n k T e c h n i q u e s
X-Rank techniques, unless otherwise stated, only require training posts of that base rank. Use of that technique at higher ranks does not require it to be learned as that rank.


___F u u i n T e r m s:
Fuuin is a broad term for all sealing techniques. A seal is a symbol whose intricacy is determined by its specific use and purpose. Fūnyū is the act of sealing an item or being within a seal. Kaifū is the act of unsealing an item or being from a seal. Kuchiyose is the act of summoning, and is most often in reference to contracts instead of seals.
• Fuuin [ Seal ]: A general term for any technique that uses a special symbol or formula as its base.
• Funyū: A broad term for the act of 'sealing'. 'To place an object inside a scroll', for example, is a Funyū technique.
• Kaifū: A broad term for the act of 'unsealing.' 'To remove an object from inside a scroll,' for example, is a Kaifū technique.
• Kuchiyose: A broad term for the act of 'summoning' an entity. Summoning often requires a contract between the user and summoned being to be signed by both in blood, though it can also be performed on specially marked objects. 'To summon a fellow Shinobi to the user's location via a signed contract,' for example, is one application of a kuchiyose technique.
• Korabo Kuchiyose: A broad term for the act of 'summoning as a group' via Korabo Ninjutsu and Kuchiyose techniques. 'Three people summoned something', for example, is a Korabo Kuchiyose. Please note that only specific Fuuin allow and/or require this.


___S t o r a g e L i m i t a t i o n s:
Only fuuinjutsu scrolls can be used for portable storage purposes, be they items, chakra, or living material. This is due to the extensive time and effort needed to treat them, making them capable of this feat in the first place. Due to heavy amount of treatments these scrolls go through, scrolls cannot be stored in another scroll. In addition to their abilities and limitations, these scrolls are study tools of the ninja and as such are highly resistant to water damage and catching fire.
  • All the contents of a seal must be identical, unless the seal states otherwise. (i.e. No mixing wood and glass in one seal.)
  • Living entities may only be sealed within a scroll of their own body rank or higher. Sealed beings may escape by exerting the same rank’s worth of Chakra in order to escape.
  • Sealing all or part of a Jutsu or Jutsu-created materials requires a sealing technique and scroll of the appropriate rank. For example: Sealing an A-Rank amount of Jutsu-created water would require an A-Rank scroll and sealing technique.
  • Items without carry limits may be stored in a scroll without impacting storage limits. (Anything that is not ore, or covered herein.)
  • Jutsu, Jutsu-created materials, and raw elements may not be stored within the same scroll as ore or living entities. The three categories of limited storage materials may not be mixed. Note that raw elements, unless ranked, do not occupy space within a scroll.
  • One scroll in your possession can be noted as a "Master Scroll" and that scroll is allowed to store the inscriptions for all of your known prepared fuinjutsu. However, you may only store the inscriptions of techniques up to the rank of the scroll and may not store anything else within the scroll. In order to utilize techniques which required something to be sealed within a scroll already or seal something within a scroll your Master Scroll will simply link to an appropriate scroll of your choosing to pull from/seal in.


___S t o r a g e Q u a n t i t i e s:
The rank of a seal determines how much material can be stored within it. Below is a simplified guide to storage quantities for each rank of scroll. Please note that certain Fuuin can subvert this guide.
    Items Limited by Weight: In general, a seal can handle 50kg of weighted materials, doubling for each rank above E-Rank. If it helps, that’s about 10kg per Chakra in a seal.
    • E-Rank: 50kg
    • D-Rank: 100kg
    • C-Rank: 200kg
    • B-Rank: 400kg
    • A-Rank: 800kg
    • S-Rank: 1600kg
    • S+Rank: 3200kg

    Techniques: Scrolls that store techniques are limited, generally, to one technique of their rank. A storage slot at a rank can be replaced by two of the rank lower, down to E-Rank. This means that, for example, a B-Rank scroll can contain 1 C-Rank, 1 D-Rank, and 2 E-Rank techniques if the owner wants to break it up like that.
    • E-Rank: 1 E-Rank.
    • D-Rank: 1 D-Rank // 2 E-Ranks.
    • C-Rank: 1 C-Rank // 2 D-Ranks // 4 E-Ranks.
    • B-Rank: 1 B-Rank // 2 C-Ranks // 4 D-Ranks // 8 E-Ranks.
    • A-Rank: 1 A-Rank // 2 B-Ranks // 4 C-Ranks // 8 D-Ranks // 16 E-Ranks.
    • S-Rank: 1 S-Rank // 2 A-Ranks // 4 B-Ranks // 8 C-Ranks // 16 D-Ranks // 32 E-Ranks.
    • S+Rank: 1 S+Rank // 2 S-Ranks // 4 A-Ranks // 8 B-Ranks // 16 C-Ranks // 32 D-Ranks // 64 E-Ranks.

    Ranked Entities and Items: A scroll can store 1 living entity of any Body Rank up to its own rank. A scroll can store one corpse or ranked item at its rank. For corpses and ranked items, a storage slot may be replaced by two of the rank lower, down to E-Rank. The list below is for corpses and ranked items.
    • E-Rank: 1 E-Rank.
    • D-Rank: 1 D-Rank // 2 E-Ranks.

E-Rank


Fuunyuu no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ]
Rank: E :: Retrainable
Description: Using this technique, a wide variety of objects and even living things can be stored within scrolls, to be released when the scroll is opened or under a specific condition. It is also possible to seal other techniques within scrolls. Performing Fuunyuu no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ], sealing an item into a scroll, does not require the user to be physically touching the item in question, but it does help. A general vacuum at the site of the fuuin will attempt to pull matter into itself if left open. This jutsu is considered the opposite action to Kaifuu no Jutsu [ Unsealing Technique ]. They do not take up slots on the profile.

Kaifuu no Jutsu [ Unsealing Technique ]
Rank: E :: Retrainable
Description: This technique is a standard ninja skill which allows a ninja to summon an assortment of items that have been stored using fuuinjutsu, Fuunyuu no Jutsu, etc. When needed, the owner activates this technique to release the contents of a seal. This allows the user to pull out any material that has been sealed via Fuunyuu no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ]. This jutsu is considered the opposite action to Fuunyuu no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ]. They do not take up slots on the profile.

Tebanasu Fuuin [ Time Sealing ]
Rank: E
Description: A seal in the shape of a small clock face that applies a timer to a seal. The hands will count up or down based on the timer’s setting and either activate the attached seal or extend its duration. Once set upon another Fuuinjutsu, it fades away from view, & only sensory techniques will be able to pick it up if specifically looked for. After the requisite handsigns are performed, the seal will flow from the user’s hands to a seal they’re touching. At the time of application the user is able to delay the activation of the touched fuuin or extend its duration by paying this technique’s cost for each post desired up to 3. Only one Tebanasu Fuuin can be applied to a seal.

Fuuin Tsunagu [ Seal Connection ]
Rank: D
Description: A linking seal that synchronizes two other seals it’s connected to. When one seal activates, the other will as well. If Tebanasu Fuuin [ Time Sealing ] is applied to this technique, the user can stagger the activations. This technique consumes no activations if used alongside another sealing technique.

Isshi Toujin [ String Light Formation ]
Rank: D :: Retrainable
Description: A barrier designed to arrest the movements of the person at its center. The user discharges Chakra through their feet to create the barrier underfoot, affecting up to one person within 5 meters. Those affected cannot move unless they exert Chakra or Stamina above this technique’s rank to do so. If multiple people use this technique at the same rank on the same target, its rank increases by 1 for each additional usage. Has an upkeep cost of its original cost per post after the first. The user(s) must remain stationary while sustaining this technique.

Kaifuujutsu: Tetsu Engai no Yuminari [ Unsealing Technique: Segmented Iron Dome ]
Rank: D :: Retrainable
Description: The user unseals a stored iron dome and reinforces it with Chakra to withstand an attack. Requires minimum D-Rank training in Kaifuu no Jutsu [ Unsealing Technique ]. The strength and other properties of the dome, as well as the amount of chakra spent, will contribute to this technique’s effectiveness.

Kaifuujutsu: Kamifubuki [ Unsealing Technique: Paper Snowstorm ]
Rank: D
Description: A variant of a standard unsealing technique that shreds whatever is removed into thousands of tiny pieces. Using a piece of paper with a sealing formula on it, the user generates thousands of little paper-slices which engulf the target, robbing them of their sight and enabling the user to hide in their presence. Requires minimum D-Rank training in Kaifuu no Jutsu [ Unsealing Technique ]. Consumes no activations if used alongside another unsealing technique.

Kaifuujutsu: Shuriken [ Unsealing Technique: Shuriken ]
Rank: D :: Retrainable
Description: Using a piece of paper or a scroll with a sealing formula on it, the user unseals a fixed amount of stored shuriken and sends them flying at a target. The number of shuriken released is equal to the amount of Chakra used on this technique. Requires minimum D-Rank training in Kaifuu no Jutsu [ Unsealing Technique ].

Kaifuujutsu: Usuimon [ Unsealing: Rainwater Gate ]
Rank: D
Description: A form of summoning technique, bringing forth a single gate sturdy enough to withstand a solid blow. The user must first store valid materials into the Fuuin, such as stone, iron, or wood, before this type of unsealing may be used. The sealed materials are consumed to create the gate and may be returned to the seal afterward if it isn’t destroyed. Able to withstand any attack of the same rank of chakra, regardless of elemental superiority, effects, etc. Requires minimum D-Rank training in Kaifuu no Jutsu [ Unsealing Technique ].

Maki Kemuri no Jutsu [ Winding Smoke Technique ]
Rank: D
Description: After revealing a special tag, the user executes a hand seal, releasing a green smoke to mask their visual and olfactory presence. This gives the user the opportunity to escape or attack their opponents. This jutsu consumes any sealed materials to make smoke. Wood, paper, plastic, or even certain powders can be used to change its color. Requires minimum D-Rank training in Kaifuu no Jutsu [ Unsealing Technique ].

Ryuu Teichi no Jutsu [ Dragon Spying Technique ]
Rank: D
Description: The user writes a seal into an eye in a piece of art. Thereafter, as long as the user is within 10 meters of the eye, they can see and hear anything within the line of sight of the eye, up to 30 meters away. Requires a D-Rank upkeep cost for each post of consecutive use. Can be learned as a sensory technique by Sensor-class shinobi.

Fuuinjutsu: Shunshin no Jutsu [ Seal Release: Instant Movement Technique ]
Rank: D :: Augment
Base Technique: Shunshin no Jutsu [ Body Flicker Technique ].
Description: Nearly exactly like the Maruton version of Shunshin, this one leaves an unactivated Fuuin symbol at the beginning or ending of the movement. The Fuuin symbol must be known prior to usage, & all other chakra costs involved must be included. Alternatively, this technique can be used to transport the user between two seals they have already written and placed within the same thread, but doing so does not place a seal at the beginning or ending of the movement.

C-Rank


Gofuu Kekkai [ Five Seal Barrier ]
Rank: C :: Retrainable
Description: A complex seal is written on a piece of paper and imbued with chakra. This will allow it to adhere to its placed position. Once five are in place within a subforum, a barrier surrounds the object first marked, preventing it from being moved or harmed. The only way to remove the barrier is to pull the five tags off at the same time or hit the barrier with a technique of a higher rank.

Makimono Kishin no Jutsu [ Scroll Communication Technique ]
Rank: C
Description: The user communicates to another by using a scroll, on which writing appears and disappears.
The user will apply this Fuuin to a matching set of scrolls, notebooks, or any other kind of paper medium. The users of these objects need only pay chakra to send a message from one to the other, meaning they do not need to be trained in this technique to use it. To send messages via these scrolls requires a cost, but to receive does not. A single use will allow free use of the communication feature for 6 posts.

Sanjuuroku-juu no Saisei Kekkai [ Thirty-Six Layer Self-Repairing Barrier ]
Rank: C
Description: A self-repairing barrier that makes up for its relative weakness with persistence. The user of this technique can only maintain, and repair, a single such barrier on their own, but for each person who lends them Chakra, the number of layers they can maintain increases by 6 to a maximum of 36 layers. An E-Rank attack will break 1 barrier, D-Rank will break 2, C-Rank 4, B-Rank 6, A-Rank 8, S-Rank 10, and S+Rank 12. After the initial C-ranked cost, the chakra upkeep is only D-ranked unless broken, at which time the initial cost is drained from each person contributing.

Shikoku Fuuin [ Finger Engraving Seal ]
Rank: C
Description: By surrounding their finger with chakra, the user can use it to engrave the movements of their finger into a touched surface.

Soushouryuu [ Twin Rising Dragons ]
Rank: C :: Retrainable
Description: A seal spread across two scrolls. When the seal is activated, the scrolls swirl around the user and lift them into the air, then primes all storage seals on them for activation. Unsealing any seals beneath this technique’s rank is free and does not consume an activation, though using or throwing the seals’ contents still consumes any regular costs. Requires minimum C Rank training in Kaifuu no Jutsu [ Unsealing Technique ].

Utsuwa [ Container ]
Rank: C
Description: A multipurpose seal that relies heavily on Fuunyuu, as it is merely a container that will store items regardless of type. If used on its own, it creates a small pocket where items can be stored with a total size of 1 cubic meter. This pocket will collapse after 3 posts unless closed with a Fuunyuu no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ] seal. If any Fuunyuu no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ] or Kaifuu no Jutsu [ Unsealing Technique ] seals are connected to this seal, any of them may store or retrieve its contents and its internal storage capacity becomes 1 cubic meter, doubling for every rank of the highest-ranked connected seal.

Bakuryuugeki [ Exploding Dragon Strike ]
Rank: B :: Retrainable
Description: Through use of a scroll, the user summons a large elemental dragon that explodes upon impact. This technique is prepared by sealing elemental Chakra into a scroll, then calling it forth later. Requires minimum B-Rank training in Kaifuu no Jutsu [ Unsealing Technique ] and Fuunyuu no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ], as well as the elemental affinity of the dragon desired. The Chakra initially stored determines the offensive strength of the dragon, while the rank of this technique determines its defensive capabilities. (i.e. A C-Rank amount of Chakra was sealed and this technique was used at B-Rank; thus, it deals only C-Rank damage but isn’t disrupted by techniques lower than B-Rank.) Dragon lasts for up to 1 post before detonating.

Chakra Kuuin no Fuuin [ Chakra Draining Seal ]
Rank: B
Description: A predatory seal that drains the Chakra of those who touch it. This Chakra is then used to sustain or activate any connected seals. The amount drained is enough to activate any directly connected seals. Can only be used on willing or unconscious targets and will not drain someone below 1 Chakra.

Fuuin Houin [ Seals Sealing ]
Rank: B
Description: A symbol which, once erected in an area, prevents low-ranked seals from enacting. The user requires a large fuuin to be drawn upon a scroll to use as the base of this technique. The seal glows brightly whenever it prevents another seal in the vicinity being used. Lasts 5 posts and affects an entire thread.

Fuuin Teppeki [ Sealed Iron Wall ]
Rank: B
Description: The user will draw two Fuuin, one on each side of an opening or doorway. Between them a thick iron gate will appear, barring progress to those the user does not allow to pass. A higher-ranked attack is the only way to forcibly pass through this gate. Lasts for 10 posts after it is no longer sustained or until one or both Fuuin are broken. Sustaining this technique drains a C-Rank amount of Chakra every post.

Fuukoku Houin [ Dark Sealing Method ]
Rank: B
Description: A preservative seal typically used alongside Shikoku Mujin [ Four Dark Mist Array ]. A seal is written on four tags, which are placed on opposing sides of a container. Anything living inside the container cannot die due to natural causes, such as malnutrition or stress. Lasts 10 posts.

Godai Houin no Michi [ Element Sealing Method ]
Rank: B :: Retrainable
Description: A defensive seal that focuses on mitigating damage rather than preventing it entirely. The user forms a hand sign to activate a previously prepared seal, causing a translucent vapor of their Chakra color to emerge from the seal and swallow an ongoing elemental technique up to this technique’s rank. The element to be sealed must be specified when the seal is created. The sealed technique may be released again if the seal is broken or if triggered by another seal, but the user will have no control over it once released. Requires minimum B-Rank training in Kaifuu no Jutsu [ Unsealing Technique ] and Fuunyuu no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ].

Jigou Jubaku no In [ Self-Cursing Seal ]
Rank: B
Description: The user touches the target, placing a miniscule seal on them that is unlikely to be noticed in the heat of battle. After 1 post, the user may activate this technique to seal the target’s movements and prevent them from moving unless they expend Chakra or Stamina exceeding the cost of this technique. Cannot be used again for 5 posts after activation.

Kakuchou [ Expansion ]
Rank: B
Description: A special "ninja tool summon" that allows the user to seal multiple ninja tools of up to 10 different types (i.e. sword, kunai, etc.) into one seal beforehand, allowing them to be called upon when needed. The ninja tools can be summoned in an instant just by touching the sealing "marks" which can be drawn anywhere. This technique is sometimes called 'Lightning Blade Creation' by its users. Requires minimum B-Rank training in Fuunyuu no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ], Kaifuu no Jutsu [ Unsealing Technique ], and Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Summoning Technique ].

Kekkai Houjin [ Barrier Method Battle Array ]
Rank: B
Description: A high-level trap technique that triggers any connected seals and/or items when someone passes through an area marked by the seal. Any costs associated with the seals and/or items being triggered is paid when setting up this technique.

Sanbou Kyuukai [ Three Buddhist Treasures Vacuum Creation ]
Rank: B
Description: A seal used by highly skilled puppeteers. Three of the user’s puppets come together to form a pyramid. After forming a hand seal, a vacuum will draw objects to the space between them, where the objects will be shredded and spewed out the back side. Can be learned by anyone, but only puppeteers can use this technique without setting up the required puppets in the necessary position beforehand. The user does not have to be in control of the puppets used.

Shikoku Mujin [ Four Dark Mist Array ]
Rank: B
Description: A preservative seal that prevents the progression of any hazards or Curse Marks to a lethal level. The target of this technique is rendered unconscious upon its activation and must be willing. Normal recovery still occurs for the target, allowing them to build up resistances and work through the worst parts of a hazard of Curse Mark without fear of death. The target reawakens when the hazard’s or Curse Mark’s effects have been reduced to a survivable level. Does not prevent death by natural causes, such as malnutrition or stress. Lasts 10 posts.

Ura Shikoku Mujin [ Inverse Four Dark Mist Array ]
Rank: B
Description: A barrier that breaks down Level 2 Curse Marks, so that they are unable to be maintained. The user will perform the necessary hand signs and exert their chakra. This will cause a wave of sealing chakra to expel from their position, up to 10 meters away or until a physical object blocks it. Any activated level 2 Curse Marks will be immediately sealed upon the host being touched by this wave and cannot be reactivated for 5 posts.

Ni no Fuuin Houin [ The Second Seals Sealing ]
Rank: B :: Augment
Base Technique: Fuuin Houin [ Seals Sealing ].
Description: A symbol, once connected to another seal, prevents all but 2 other seals from interacting with it. This is useful for preventing the connected seal from being interfered with by outside parties or canceled by Fuuin Houin [ Seals Sealing ].

Sougu: Tensasai [ Tool Manipulation: Heavenly Chain Disaster ]
Rank: B :: Augment
Base Technique: Soushouryuu [ Twin Rising Dragons ].
Description: A very slight adjustment to Soushouryuu [ Twin Rising Dragons ]. Whenever that technique is activated, the user may elect to also activate this technique alongside it without consuming an additional activation. Any items unsealed through Soushouryuu [ Twin Rising Dragons ] are immediately launched in a user-specified direction with a strength dictated by this technique. Has an upkeep cost of this technique’s original cost per post. Can be used at any rank Soushouryuu [ Twin Rising Dragons ] has been trained to.

A-Rank


Bunshin Houin [ Clone Sealing ]
Rank: A
Description: A glowing purple seal which is drawn upon the user's skin, encompassing all limbs. Once activated, it expands in size and sends out a pulse of Chakra. This pulse overrides control of all clones in the thread and forces them to submit to the will of the user while retaining their original abilities, techniques, etc. Affects an entire thread. Stolen clones still drain Chakra from their creator as normal. Lasts 3 posts, after which all affected clones disperse.

Chakra Seals [ Specific ]
Rank: A
Description: A palm-sized paper seal for demonic chakra. Placing one of these on a person that has any number of tails will revert them back to their non-tailed state. All tails will be sealed at the time of physically touching the seal to the jinchuuriki. Takes 1 full day to write.

Fuubaku Houjin [ Sealed Binding Formation ]
Rank: A
Description: A capture technique prepared by placing four binding seals around an area. After placement, the user can activate this technique to arrest the movements of an entity passing through the area. This immobilization can be overcome by the target should they exert Chakra or Stamina at this technique’s rank to escape. Lasts as long as the user sustains it. Fuuja Houin [ Evil Sealing Method ]

Description: A seal specifically used to counteract the effects of a Curse Mark by preventing its spread and denying its creator any control over the target. The unfortunate drawback is that this is all based on the target’s willpower; should they willingly use their Curse Mark, the effects of this seal are removed until they are able to rest for at least 10 posts. It is also very time-consuming to prepare, as it requires a room be inscribed with the sealing formula, which then compresses into a circle around the target’s Curse Mark.

Gogyou Fuuin [ Five Elements Seal ]

Description: After a series of long, complex hand signs, a seal dedicated to five elemental affinities of the user’s choosing will appear on one of their hands’ fingertips. Touching someone directly with these fingers will create a complex seal at the point of contact, preventing the target from using any of the chosen elements.

Ikkaiten Fuuin [ Rotation Sealing ]

Description: After several hand signs, symbols will appear on the user's hands. This consumes an activation and is when this technique’s cost is paid, but is not necessarily when it activates. Following this, the user can choose any time within the next 5 posts to clap their hands, sending out a barely perceptible wave of Chakra. Everyone within 10 meters of the user will have the elemental affinity of their jutsu shifted to whichever element is weak to it. Water turn to Fire, Fire to Wind, Wind to Lightning, Lightning to Earth, and Earth to Water. Individuals with no natural affinities to the new element of their activated jutsu will not have control over their effects. Only works on the 5 main elements.

Kekkai Houin [ Barrier Sealing ]
Rank: A :: Retrainable
Description: A seal which can be placed anywhere, even in the air. When activated, an invisible wall of Chakra will be erected and will block either physical passage or the passage of Chakra. Entities that are both physical and contain Chakra (such as people) can be blocked by either method. Can be broken by attacks at or above its rank, provided the attack would interact with it. (i.e. A simple sword attack wouldn’t break a Chakra-interference barrier. Note that this is based on actual Chakra content, and not whether a technique is treated as complex or spiritual.) The barrier’s maximum size is 100 square meters and it can be any simple two-dimensional shape. Lasts 3 posts. Can be used at any rank up to the maximum learned. If the user desires, created barriers can also have their opacity changed from transparent to opaque at will. If not transparent, the barrier assumes the color of the user’s Chakra, defaulting to black if that color isn’t normally visible.

Kemono Fuuin no Jutsu [ Beast Sealing Technique ]

Description: After inscribing a complex, large seal across an area of a small room, the user can then plant their hands on the ground to cause chains to appear and bind a target. The intended target needs to be on the seal to be caught by it. If used on a summoning, it disappears. If used on a Bijuu, it remains bound for up to 5 posts before breaking free.

Omamori no Kekkai [ Protective Tag Barrier ]

Description: The user draws a seal on a set of accessories, indicating on each which body part they should protect. When worn, the objects will jump to intercept any attacks directed at the indicated location. All accessories directed to cover a certain body part will collectively have A-Rank defense and will all break after protecting it. Inscribing the seal takes 1 post.

Seijou Houin [ Normality Sealing ]

Description: A palm-sized seal which prevents the use of normal items such as: explosives, mechanical devices, Seven Swordsman Swords, range finders, opening of closed pouches/pockets, etc. Affects an entire thread indiscriminately. The seal must be prepared in advance. Lasts 5 posts.

Seitai Fuuin [ Ecological Sealing ]

Description: An enormous seal that consumes all slots on a scroll at least A-Rank. When activated, a spherical barrier extends out from it, stopping nearly everything inside of it in its tracks. Plants and non-living objects in the barrier are rendered incapable of moving, excepting those directly possessed by people or animals but not excepting Jutsu-created or -influenced objects. (i.e. This will stop any manipulated sand, but not someone’s shirt or sword while they’re in contact with that person.) Techniques of a higher rank can still manipulate things sealed this way. Has a range of 10 meters, plus an additional 10 meters per rank of the scroll used above A-Rank. Lasts 4 posts.

Shishi Heikou [ Lion Closing Roar ]

Description: The user crafts a seal in advance which will seal a target’s use of Chakra by closing all their tenketsu. Planting this seal on a target and activating it with direct touch and hand signs will seal the target’s use of Chakra for 3 posts. Cannot be used again until 5 posts after its end.

Yuwaeru no Tsukegami Houin [ Binding Tag Seal ]

Description: By placing a sealing tag on an opponent or object, a powerful seal is generated that prevents the article in question from being summoned as long as the tag remains intact. The seal does not have to be placed upon paper for it to work. If multiple seals are placed around an area and activated simultaneously (such as with Kekkai Houjin [ Barrier Method Battle Array ]), this technique will prevent all objects in the marked area from being summoned.

Description: The user focuses their energy into a mark upon their forehead which is able to store up 350 Chakra or Stamina when outside of battle. Takes 20 posts to fully charge to 100%. When the user wishes, the bounds surrounding the seal will break and leak Chakra (or Stamina, not both) back into their body. Learning this technique consumes either 1 Style slot (which is a Rigorous slot, if a physical Style slot is used) or 10 Ninjutsu or Genjutsu slots, before any mirroring effects.

Juin Jutsu [ Cursed Seal Technique ]

Description: Using their knowledge of Sennin Moodo, the user seals part of their consciousness inside a target to passively gather and convert natural energy into usable Chakra. This allows the user to place a Juin [ Curse Seal ] on a recipient. Requires Sage Mode be known and 20 posts be spent tinkering on live subjects. Only one Cursed Mark can ever be applied to one person. Anyone with a Curse Seal must have a link in their profile to where & when they were given it, as well as contacting moderators of which type of Cursed Mark.

Description: A gigantic Fuuin symbol springs forth from a large scroll to hang in the air. The complexity and sheer size of this sealing formula requires a large amount of time to be drawn correctly, meaning it can’t be made in battle without at least 3 posts of uninterrupted preparation time. Those in the thread will have any summonings cancelled out or prevented, including any techniques that depend on Kuchiyose or Gyaku Kuchiyose. Lasts 10 posts.

Mugen Houyou [ Infinite Embrace ]

Description: After forming the necessary hand signs the user must trace over the ground a large, but simple, seal. Their Chakra will keep the shape of the seal, but no actual mark will be left. The range of this trap extends out from the center of the drawn Fuuin by 4 meters. When a target steps within this range the user can activate the trap with a single handsign. The trap begins immediately draining all Chakra from anyone other than the user in its range, causing a large amount of pain while doing so. Cannot be reused until 5 posts after it has ended. Drains one C-Ranked amount of Chakra per post from everyone affected. Those affected cannot move, but neither can the user while anyone or anything is being drained. Can be countered with all normal Fuuin negations, activating a technique of at least S-Rank, entering a Tailed Beast activation state, or sacrificing an S-Ranked amount of Chakra.

Tensha Fuuin [ Transcription Seal ]

Description: A seal with multiple purposes. It can store information within someone or something, or it can store given commands to activate or deactivate techniques given a certain condition. Generally, a scroll is used for this technique, with the intricate symbol required written upon it and imparting the information or command to the next person who opens it. However, it can also be performed by simply touching a target, which creates the seal invisibly for a brief moment as the information or command is transferred. If used to teach jutsu, it acts as a 5 post deduction bonus if the person using it knows the technique being taught. Can be used as part of another seal to give it an activation or deactivation condition.

Ura Shishou Fuuinjutsu [ Reverse Four Symbols Sealing Technique ]

Description: A seal comprised of four symbols that, when activated, seals anything within 10 meters inside of itself. Activation causes the four symbols to leap out from the place they were set and form a large, black sphere around it. Anything caught inside the sphere's radius is then drawn in and sealed within the fuuin. Requires minimum S-rank training in Fuunyuu no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ] and to know Kakuchou [ Expansion ]. All living material remains in a suspended state until unsealed.

San no Fuuin Houin [ The Third Seals Sealing ]

Base Technique: Ni no Fuuin Houin [ The Second Seals Sealing ].
Description: A gigantic Fuuin symbol springs forth from a large scroll to hang in the air. Those in the area will find that their own Fuuinjutsu are cancelled out. The user will spend a large amount of time carefully drawing out each specific detail of this complex and large Fuuin onto a scroll. To activate the seal the user simply needs to unfurl the scroll and apply chakra. Doing so negates all other Fuuin B-ranked or lower in the local area, (i.e. thread) and prevents any more from activating. Lasts 3 posts.

Fuujutsu Kyuuin [ Sealing Technique Absorption Seal ]
Rank: S+
Description: A rare seal that does not have a written formula. By reversing the flow of their Chakra at the point of impact, the user is able to take in the Chakra of an attack and incorporate half its cost it into their own pool. Consumes all offensive activations for a post. Can only be used once every 3 posts. This cooldown is reset if a technique above A-Rank is used during that time. If the user has the Rinnegan, this cooldown is reduced to 1 post. Learning this technique consumes either 1 Style slot (which is a Rigorous slot, if a physical Style slot is used) or 10 Ninjutsu or Genjutsu slots, before any mirroring effects.

Keiyaku Fuuin [ Contract Seal ]
Rank: S+
Description: The user performs several hand signs and touches the target, covering them in a sealing formula. As soon as this seal appears, the target’s summoning contracts are negated, sending any summoned creatures back to the area they came from and breaking any control the target has over them. The target will be incapable of performing any summoning that operates based on a contract (such as animal summonings) while this seal is present. For only a B-Rank amount of Chakra, the user can instead place a much smaller seal that operates the same way, but only affects one part of a contract (i.e. only Gamabunta instead of all the toads) or prevents non-contractual summoning (i.e. of items). Lasts 10 posts or until removed.

Shisekiyoujin [ Four Red Yang Formation ]
Rank: S+
Description: A powerful barrier formation noted to only be usable by Kage-caliber shinobi, whereby four shinobi, standing in a square formation, erect a large barrier that is red in color. It was stated to be several times stronger than the Four Violet Flames Formation, and is highly malleable. The users can choose to make and close openings in the barrier to allow passage of people and Jutsu and can do so on a moment’s notice. The barrier can also be distorted to better handle very powerful attacks, such as Bijuudama. Consumes all activations and an S-Rank amount of Chakra per post after the first post to sustain. Requires 4 users.

Tajuu Mugen Houyou [ Multiple Infinite Embraces ]
Rank: S+ :: Augment
Base Technique: Mugen Houyou [ Infinite Embrace ].
Description: A much more powerful version of Mugen Houyou [ Infinite Embrace ] that drains one A-Rank amount of Chakra from everyone in its range while paralyzing them. This technique covers an area 8 meters across and cannot be broken out of without the target exerting an S+Rank amount of Chakra or Stamina. Requires minimally 3 users, at least one of whom must always remain still while this technique is active, though which one that is can be changed every post. Should someone end their post within the confines of this technique, they are affected anew the next post even if they previously broke out. Has a per post upkeep cost of one rank lower than its initial cost starting on the second post. Any drained Chakra is distributed evenly among the users. Cannot be used again for 10 posts after it ends.

Permanent Sealing Methods

-_-Permanent Sealing Methods are ways of permanently sealing and storing materials and entities in ways that prevent them from escaping from the inside. They are generally both more costly and considered a significantly more drastic way to address a situation.
-_-As being sealed this way is essentially a death sentence, using any of these sealing methods on an RPC requires permission from the user in control of them; otherwise, your character will either think these methods too drastic for the situation or simply not think to use them. In the sake of fairness, goading someone in-character into using one of these techniques counts as giving permission. The actual degree to which a character will be able to interact with the outside world once sealed this way is up for debate, as they’ll generally be limited to interacting with the person they’re sealed inside of.
-_-Use of these sealing methods on Bijuu is the recommended way to go about using them. They can be used against Bijuu without learning them, so long as a character has access to the appropriate information and materials required to do so. The only time these techniques actually consume a slot is if they’re being learned permanently.
-_-Each sealing method has a “Strength” attribute and a parity (odd/even) attribute. Bijuu can only be effectively sealed by seals that are strong enough to suppress their lust for freedom and/or power (as listed below) and have an opposing parity to their number of tails (i.e. an even-numbered seal is effective against a Bijuu with an odd number of tails). When used against non-Bijuu entities, seal strength ratings are effective based on the target’s rank relative to the user’s and parity isn’t especially important (if you want to go the extra mile, make the parity oppose the first number of the target’s combined max Chakra and Stamina pools). If a seal has multiple parts, it is as strong as its strongest part.

Sealing Strength Guide
  • Weak Seals: Seals that prevent the sealed entity from directly controlling the host while still allowing them a great deal of freedom. As this allows them to greatly influence the host, these seals are most commonly used on entities not likely to do so. Weak seals are good against: Sanbi [ Three Tails ], Rokubi [ Six Tails ], entities two or more ranks lower than the user’s body rank.
  • Medium Seals: Seals that more firmly restrict the sealed entity, allowing minimal contact and freedom. Entities sealed this way are commonly those that would break out if left to their own devices, but are less likely to do so when faced with a sturdy barrier. Medium seals are good against: Nibi [ Two Tails ], Gobi [ Five Tails ], Nanabi [ Seven Tails ], Hachibi [ Eight Tails ], entities within one rank of the user’s body rank.
  • Strong Seals: Powerful seals that allow contact between the host and the sealed entity only under very specific circumstances or if either of them consciously pushes for it. Seals of this class effectively separate the sealed entity’s will and thoughts from those of the host, a step which is required only for extremely powerful or malicious entities. Strong seals are good against: Ichibi [ One Tail ], Yonbi [ Four Tails ], entities two or more ranks above the user’s body rank.
  • At least two strong seals are required to fully seal the Kyuubi [ Nine Tails ] due to the overwhelming force of its presence.
  • Using seals that are too strong for an entity prevent training past the dormant stage unless a Fuuin no Kagi [ Key to the Seal ] is written and used.
  • “Prongs” are another way to refer to a seal’s parity. Think of parity as a count of the number of prongs (or branches) coming off the seal.

Drawing on Non-Bijuu Power
(Note: The following information is under development and likely to change depending on what happens if it’s ever actually used.)
-_-Drawing on a Bijuu’s power through these seals has effects that are specified and different for each Bijuu. Doing the same for a sealed non-Bijuu entity has less well-defined effects. A sealed entity’s abilities are able to be accessed by their host, with one ability or PA accessible per training. Training starts at 4 posts and increases by 2 posts for each successive training (i.e. the first training is 4 posts, the second is 6 posts, etc.). Accessing the sealed entity’s Chakra and abilities counts as entering an active state similar to accessing the abilities of a Bijuu. During this time, the sealed entity gains drastically greater influence over the host. Should the host borrow more Chakra from an entity than they themselves currently have, it’s entirely possible for the entity to break free; unlike with Bijuu, however, this does not kill the host, instead only rendering them unconscious. What you get at each training and how long it takes is outlined below.
  • Training Time: 4(+2 per previous training) posts. Caps at 10 posts.
    Abilities Gained: 1 passive ability, PA, or physical change to resemble the target per training.
    Chakra Increase: Up to 50 of the target’s Chakra per training is available, up to their max. This Chakra is consumed before the host’s own when accessed, regardless of the host’s will. The entity will not give up Chakra if it would go below 5 Chakra by doing so.
    Chakra Drain: 10% of the accessed Chakra, rounded up to the nearest interval of 5.
    Technique Access: Maruton (or the standard element, if the entity doesn’t have Maruton) and special abilities up to E-Rank (+1 rank per additional completed training).
  • Accessing an additional element requires 10 posts of training and grants access up to the current availability of Maruton techniques.
  • Accessing bloodline and clan techniques based entirely on Chakra (i.e. elemental bloodlines, most clan Jutsu) is possible only if the sealed being is willing to both lend its Chakra and teach you the technique(s).
  • Accessing bloodline and clan techniques based on genetics (i.e. Souma no Kou, Shikotsumyaku, etc.) is not possible.
  • Bloodline and clan passive abilities and PAs cannot be accessed with any amount of training.
  • All of the entity’s abilities, techniques, etc., are inaccessible without Chakra taken from the sealed entity.


Fuuin no Kagi [ Key to the Seal ]
Rank: S+
Strength: Varies.
Parity: N/A.
Description: This technique is used to alter the strength of a seal after it is already in place, usually in very small increments to ease the host in to training. After copying onto paper the seal used to contain an entity, the user creates a large, complex seal around it. The user then activates the seal; the first activation costs the full amount and is used to assign a key to a seal. All subsequent activations for the purpose of altering a seal’s strength cost 80 Chakra. Strength cannot be adjusted to above the seal’s maximum strength (i.e. a weak seal cannot become strong).

Fuuin no Tsuyofukumi [ Seal Strengthening ]
Rank: S
Strength: Strong.
Parity: N/A.
Description: During the sealing process, this seal may be activated. The user adds extra Chakra and refines the primary seal, bumping the seal’s maximum power up to “Strong” regardless of its original strength. Cannot be used on seals that are already “Strong” in power.

Genryuu Kyuu Fuujin [ Phantom Dragons Nine Consuming Seals ]

Description: A forceful unsealing method used to extract a sealed creature, usually used by multiple people at once. The users exert Chakra to match the sealed entity’s maximum Chakra and direct it into the seal on an incapacitated host, thereby breaking the seal and freeing the entity. This entity can then either be freed or sealed into a special statue for permanent storage. This is the only way Bijuu can be sealed into the Gedou Mazou. Learning this technique consumes either 1 Style slot (which is a Rigorous slot, if a physical Style slot is used) or 10 Ninjutsu or Genjutsu slots, before any mirroring effects.

Hakke no Fuuin Shiki [ Eight Divination Signs Seal Style ]
Rank: S+
Strength: Weak.
Parity: Even.
Description: The user performs an elaborate ritual with the seal's chakra 'written' on the target. Activating it allows for a sealed entity to be sucked into a separated portion of the target's soul, bound behind bars. Unlike other seals, this one deliberately leaves a channel between the sealed entity and the host so that Chakra can be transferred more easily. The host regenerates 10 Chakra per post so long as the sealed entity has at least 5 Chakra remaining, even in battle. The downside to this is that it is exceptionally easy for the sealed entity to influence the host. Can be placed on top of another of these sealing methods to impart its effects, in which case it loses its own strength and parity and reduces the target seal’s strength by one step. Drains half the user’s current Chakra upon use. A maximum of three of these can fit on a single host without overwhelming their Chakra network.

Kanae Fuuin [ Three-Legged Kettle Seal ]
Rank: S+
Strength: Strong.
Parity: Even.
Description: A sealing technique originating in Sunagakure designed to seal away entities with powerful personalities. The entity being sealed is drawn into a large tea kettle by a cloud of sealing marks. To transfer this seal from the kettle to another entity, that entity must be placed inside the kettle and the seal must be stimulated with a small amount of Chakra. Since excessively large tea kettles are rare, it is common to have one designed to be large enough to fit a person specifically for use with this seal. Use of Fuuin Tsunagu [ Seal Connection ] with an empty Fuunyuu no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ] placed on a person is enough to transfer this seal to that person in cases where an appropriately sized kettle is not available. If a person is sacrificed during the initial use of this technique, the sealed Bijuu cannot escape and any potential negative effects of the sealing on them are negated. Should a host survive having a Bijuu removed after it was sealed in them this way, they retain access to any unlocked demonic PA’s and techniques. Leaves behind no visible mark. Not usable with non-demonic entities as its target. Drains half the user’s current Chakra or 320 Chakra, whichever is higher.

Kyouchou no Gishiki Fuuin [ Cooperative Ritual Seal ]
Rank: S+
Strength: Weak.
Parity: Matches the number of users.
Description: With the recipient of the Fuuin unconscious, a large Fuuin symbol is tattooed upon them without the typical prongs, which are formed by each sealer when the technique is activated. By touching the tattoo, those performing the sealing will activate it, causing it to suck in the weakened creature to be sealed. Drains half all the users’ current Chakra or 320 Chakra split between them, whichever is greater.

Sashu Kaiin [ Exploitation Seal Release ]
Rank: S+
Strength: N/A.

Description: The user binds the target in a number of intricate sealing formulas placed beforehand throughout an area. If the target’s Chakra is below 25% of their maximum or they’ve just undergone an extremely strenuous task (such as childbirth or opening any number of the Eight Gates), the user can loosen a seal on them just enough to extract whatever entity is inside, leaving the target alive. Learning this technique consumes either 1 Style slot (which is a Rigorous slot, if a physical Style slot is used) or 10 Ninjutsu or Genjutsu slots, before any mirroring effects.

Shinten Fuuin no Waza [ Art of the Extension Seal ]

Strength: Medium.
Parity: N/A.
Description: During the sealing process, the user adds a prong to a seal, turning it from odd-numbered to even-numbered or vice-versa. Cannot be used on its own, but raises a seal’s strength to medium if it’s weak. If used on a regular seal containing a living creature, it no longer is sealed in stasis (if it was in the first place) and must pay twice as much as normal to break out.

Shishou Fuuin [ Four Image Seal ]
Rank: S+
Strength: Strong.
Parity: Even.
Description: A powerful four-pronged seal originating in Konohagakure capable of binding even the most powerful of spirits. After the seal is drawn in blood on the intended host, the user charges it with Chakra to permanently etch the seal into the intended host’s skin. The Chakra then reaches out as tendrils of sealing characters that wrap around the target and draw it in. If used alongside another sealing method, Hakke no Fuuin Shiki [ Eight Divination Signs Seal Style ] does not decrease the strength of either seal, but a Fuuin no Kagi [ Key to the Seal ] must be written to allow the host to train past the first stage of activation. Drains half the user’s current Chakra.

Tekkou Fuuin [ Iron Armor Seal ]
Rank: S+
Strength: Medium.
Parity: Odd.
Description: A sealing technique originating in Kumogakure designed to seal entities into a container to allow for a more lengthy resealing process at a later date. The user engraves a special mark into a container and then sends Chakra through the mark to activate this technique. The container’s lid springs open and a vacuum effect draws in any Chakra-containing entities in the direction of the opening within the same thread. The sealing finishes when the user shuts the container’s lid, at which point the container is permanently sealed shut until all entities within it are resealed or released. Sealing (and unsealing) can be performed on each of the entities in the pot individually afterward, making this a relatively safe technique for one that affects such a large area. Use of Fuuin Tsunagu [ Seal Connection ] with an empty Fuunyuu no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ] placed on a person is enough to transfer a sealed entity to that person, leaving behind a seal in the shape of the kanji for “iron”. Drains half the user’s current Chakra or 320 Chakra, whichever is higher.

Togyo no Fuuin Shiki [ Sacred Enshrinement Sealing Ceremony ]
Rank: S+
Strength: Varies.
Parity: Odd.
Description: A sealing technique that strengthens to match the strength of the sealed creature. Identical seals are drawn on the creature to be sealed and the recipient, marking them for the beginning of the ceremony. Thereafter, the mark on the recipient is activated, sucking in the creature with the identical marking. The ceremony continues for 1 post per degree of strengthening required after the initial sealing, starting at 1 post for a weak seal. Leaves no visible marks after the original symbol is removed. Drains 160 Chakra for the initial sealing, and an additional 160 for each post the ceremony continues. If multiple people continue the ceremony, this cost is spread amongst them.

Korabo Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Collaborative Summoning Technique ]

Description: This technique allows multiple summoners to transport specially marked entities across long distances. With the combined strength of multiple powerful users, this technique can bring forth targets from tremendous distances and even different dimensions. This technique is a requirement for several transportation-based Fuuinjutsu. To learn and train, it requires a minimum of two people to work together. The distance increases based on this technique’s rank:
  • E-Rank: 25 meters.
  • D-Rank: 100 meters.
  • C-Rank: 400 meters.
  • B-Rank: 1600 meters.
  • A-Rank: 6400 meters.
  • S-Rank: 25,600 meters.
  • S+Rank: 102,400 meters.


Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Summoning Technique ]
Rank: C :: Retrainable
Description: The Summoning Technique is a space–time ninjutsu that allows the summoner to transport animals or people across long distances instantly via blood. Before an animal summoning can be performed, a prospective summoner must first sign a contract with a given species. The contract comes in the form of a scroll, on which the contractor uses their own blood to sign their name and place their fingerprints and once signed it is valid even after the contractor’s death as long as the contract itself remains intact. After this they need only offer an additional donation of blood on the hand they signed the contract with, mold their chakra with hand seals and then plant the hand they signed the contract with at the location they wish to summon the creature. The amount of chakra used during the summoning determines how powerful the summoned creature can be. It should be noted that anyone can summon a contracted animal as long as they have the blood from someone who has made a contract, the seal of the summoned creature, and a source of sufficient chakra that the summon will accept. A creature is capable of determining who is attempting to summon it from the chakra used. If used without a contract, the user is transported to the Summoning Lands.

Bodi Chouin no Jutsu [ Body Sealing Technique ]

Description: A seal designed for storing, protecting, and preserving bodies. A willing or unconscious target sealed into the scroll is preserved in the state they were upon sealing until they are released again. This means that those who are unconscious will continue to be unconscious until unsealed, and those in need of medical attention will be in the same condition when released. Requires Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Summoning Technique ] to be known. Can be learned as a medical technique by those of the Medic class.

Gamagakure no Jutsu [ Hiding in a Toad Technique ]
Rank: B
Description: The user summons themselves into one of their summoned creatures, allowing them to hide inside. The user’s Chakra signature is blocked while hiding this way. If used without a summoned entity present, one may be summoned without requiring an additional activation. Requires at minimum B-Rank training in Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Summoning Technique ]. The intended host must have the appropriate Fuuin on their body before the Jutsu can take place, and the person sealed inside them will be ejected should the Fuuin be broken. The user is unable to communicate with their host but does witness the surroundings as the host would.

Rashoumon [ Rashoumon ]
Rank: B
Description: By slamming their palm into the ground, the user calls forth a Rashoumon gate, said to be the ultimate defensive wall. Only a very powerful impact can mar the gate, as it can withstand any attack of the same rank. Opening the gate causes a powerful vacuum effect that sucks in matter up to the capacity of a connected Fuunyuu no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ]. Requires minimum B-Rank training in Fuunyuu no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ], Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Summoning Technique ] and knowing Kuchiyose: Usuimon [ Summoning: Rainwater Gate ].

Yatai Kuzushi no Jutsu [ Food Cart Destroyer Technique ]
Rank: B
Description: An adjustment of the standard summoning technique that allows a summoned creature to be called forth at any point the user can see within the thread. If summoned above something, this creature deals damage at its rank to anything it lands on. Requires minimum B-rank training in Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Summoning Technique ].

Gentoushin no Jutsu [ Lit Apparition Technique ]
Rank: A
Description: The user prepares a small seal and activates Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Summoning Technique ] on it. Every entity on a summoning contract the user has signed is notified when this technique activates and can choose to send an astral projection of themselves to the user’s position. These astral projections cannot directly engage in combat, but may contribute Chakra costs and lend Chakra to Korabo with the user. These astral forms must stay within 10 meters of the user and last for up to 4 posts. Those projecting themselves can choose to leave, but the user cannot force them to leave without ending this technique altogether.

Aian Meiden [ Iron Maiden ]
Rank: A
Description: The user summons a giant iron maneki neko, which appears beneath the opponent from underground. The maneki neko splits down the middle, clamps around the target, and is then dragged back down into the ground by chains. This technique requires the use of a scroll marked with an A-Rank Fuunyuu Fuuin, which must be filled at least half full with iron. Using this technique consumes the iron to create the maneki neko, then reseals it and its contents after it gets pulled underground. Living creatures are placed in stasis while sealed this way. Requires minimum A-Rank training in Fuunyuu no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ] and Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Summoning Technique ].

Zoufuku Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Amplification Summoning Technique ]
Rank: A
Description: An enhancement of the standard Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Summoning Technique ] that causes the summoned creature to split into two identical copies of itself when severely damaged or knocked unconscious. The drawback is the huge limitations this imposes on the summoned creature, which can’t use anything but its natural weapons after splitting. Each split reduces the rank of each resultant creature by one, to a minimum of E-Rank, at which point division stops. The summoned creature returns to normal when the summoning ends. If all parts of the creature rejoin, it can resume its normal activities as though it never split. Requires minimum A-Rank training in Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Summoning Technique ].

Goumon Heya [ Torture Chamber ]
Rank: S
Description: The user summons a torture chamber into being around them and an opponent. Wire wraps around everyone in the chamber, slowly constricting them and causing great pain as the user wills it. The user is also wrapped in wire and suffers the same pain. Requires minimum S-rank training in Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Summoning Technique ] and Kuchiyose: Aian Meiden [ Summoning: Iron Maiden ]. A scroll already containing large amounts of iron must be at the ready for this Kuchiyose technique. The Chakra consumed by this technique can be used each post to inflict pain on everyone within the torture chamber, with the rank of the pain being reflected by the amount of Chakra drained. Once an S-Rank amount of Chakra has been drained for this purpose, the technique either ends or can be refreshed by paying another S-Rank amount of Chakra to keep it going.

Hiraishin no Jutsu [ Flying Thunder God Technique ]
Rank: S+
Description: The user marks an object or person with a small seal known as a “shiki” or “rite”. Thereafter, they can instantaneously teleport themselves via a space-time technique to that shiki in a manner reminiscent of Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Summoning Technique ]. The user can also transfer an object bearing the shiki to the location of another shiki, so long as they are also in contact with something bearing one. Transferred objects retain their momentum and any other effects, but are expelled away from the shiki, making it impossible to teleport an item to a marked person and have it immediately strike them that way. Requires only 60 Chakra to perform. Learning this technique consumes either 1 Style slot (which is a Rigorous slot, if a physical Style slot is used) or 10 Ninjutsu or Genjutsu slots, before any mirroring effects.

Description: Gyaku Kuchiyose no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which allows an individual to summon a person or being to their location using a summoning scroll. In normal Kuchiyose, the signed summoning contract allows the summoner to call upon his or her summons. This modification allows for the user to send themselves or a willing target to another contracted entity. This technique can be used at any rank Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Summoning Technique ] has been retrained to.

Shizen no Kuchiyose [ Nature Summoning ]
Rank: C :: Augment
Base Technique: Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Summoning Technique ].
Description: An augment of the standard summoning formula that allows the user to call forth natural materials from an area they marked with their blood beforehand. The amount of materials summoned scale with rank as though they were weight-limited objects being unsealed. If the user has Korabo training with another individual, they may mark that person; thereafter, the user may summon a technique that person is using to their location, up to this technique’s rank. This technique can be used at any rank Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Summoning Technique ] has been retrained to. If any other augments to Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Summoning Technique ] are known, this technique consumes a slot.

Gamamise no Jutsu [ Toad Shop Technique ]
Rank: B :: Augment
Base Technique: Gamagakure no Jutsu [ Hiding in a Toad Technique ].
Description: The user summons themselves into one of their summoned creatures, then transforms the host creature into the appearance of a shop of some kind. At any time, the user may undo this transformation, trapping all those inside in the host creature while they remain free to move around inside it. Those inside the host creature have their Chakra signatures blocked to the outside world, making this an excellent way to hide out and interrogate someone. If used without a summoned entity present, one may be summoned without requiring an additional activation.

Sanjuu Rashoumon [ Triple Rashoumon ]
Rank: A :: Augment
Base Technique: Rashoumon [ Rashoumon ].
Description: By slamming their palm into the ground, the user summons three huge Rashoumon gates. Each gate will block attacks up to B-Rank and can be opened in the same way as a single Rashoumon can, causing a vacuum effect that will seal objects into a connected Fuunyuu no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ]. Requires minimum A-Rank training in Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Summoning Technique ]. This technique cannot be used again while at least one of the gates remains.

Hiraishin: Dourai [ Flying Thunder God: Guiding Thunder ]
Rank: X :: Augment (learned as S)
Base Technique: Hiraishin no Jutsu [ Flying Thunder God Technique ].
Description: Utilizing a kunai marked for use with Hiraishin as a base, the user releases Chakra in the shape of a barrier to catch an incoming technique, then teleports it with the kunai. Has a base cost of 20 Chakra, plus the cost of the technique to be teleported.

Gojuu Rashoumon [ Quintuple Rashoumon ]
Rank: S+ :: Augment
Base Technique Kuchiyose: Sanjuu Rashoumon [ Summoning: Triple Rashoumon ].
Description: While one already boasts enormous defensive properties, with this technique the user summons five Rashoumon gates to block an incoming attack. Each gate can withstand up to an S-Rank blow, regardless of any effects that would increase or decrease the effectiveness of it or the attack being blocked. Opening a door causes the same vacuum effect as opening a single Rashoumon, with any matter sucked inside stored into a connected Fuunyuu no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ]. Requires minimum S+Rank training in Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Summoning Technique ].
