[Abigale_Raven]

I feel like I have been in a black Haze...
Groggy from the sleepless dreams,and the
recurring nightmares that keeps jabbing me
in the brain...as REM mocks me into insomnia

Seeing things move around the room..
I suppose the elixer of the sleeping pill
is working...I feel light,like I am floating
to someplace where there is wonder and delight
escaping the rapture called my life

Eyes sunken in like a skeleton on halloween
I peer around me,and grab my legs
The monsters can't get them now..they are safe..
Plugging my ears,I want the whispers to stop..
Turn down the audio...I can't think...I want to scream

I locked the door...they tried to get in,
but I have the key around my neck
They are not invited,I want them gone
This is my domain,I won't let them penetrate
my defenses...

I have unbuckled my jacket..
I can feel the dreary air with my hands
I am comfortable on a high birch..looking down
at the dust collecting toys
I ruffled my feathers to watch them slowly descent
to it's resting place...

I am at peace as I breathe in the stuffy air
Looking around,I smile as I kick my legs back and forth
A cage,how fitting for one such a I...
Its a pity that I am traped in a gilded asylum
I want to spread my wings and fly to the nearest grave yard
There's a tombstone with my name on it...and I want to vist
a dear departed friend...

Thank you,I have plenty of them.I am a dark poet...even though I have that are light and heart warming,my main thing is darkness.
