Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary
Yeah, another Halo freak posting here! Don't mind my babbling, please!
I know lots of people really dislike Halo, but in my experience I found it was mostly because these people had not played the first game, the one that really changed FPS gaming. I'll admit, I really hated 3, I even liked ODST over 3. And okay maybe some people didn't like 2 either. But back in the day, did anyone hate Halo: CE? I have never met someone who felt that way..
I'm personally really excited for this remake because out of all of the games I have ever played, Halo: CE was the one that really made me a gamer. It made me much more creative in every aspect. The Halo world was amazing, the aliens were amazing, heck even the graphics back then were amazing. And the story was full of mystery!
This remake is everything I ever wanted since Halo 3. Many people including myself thought, "You know, they should really remake Halo 1 with better graphics and keep everything else the same!" And look what happened. A lot of us got exactly what we wanted and more. If we want, we can change back to the old graphics in a simple switch, how awesome is that? We can still play bumper cars with the Hogs and laugh at how unbelievably high we can fly. We can still glitch our way up walls we were never really supposed to go up. Oh and hey, we're now gonna hear a real orchestra version of all the music, since the old music was synthesized.
SO. A great story with new graphics, music from a real orchestra and all the same good physics stuff left alone/"unfixed". For only $40. Who's in?

Yeah :3. I finished my play-through a while back already. The graphics are amazing, and the music is beautiful, and it's still the same game! Made me a VERY happy girl XD. My only issue with it was the lag if you're not host. It doesn't sound like much but a 1 second movement delay in a video game can really ruin the experience. But I sucked it up because it was just everything I wanted and more!
