Katon is the son of a drunkard shinobi. His father named him after his favorite drink, which for Katon's sake, just so happened to change from rattlesnake brandy to Fire Whiskey. Katon's mom tried desperately to keep her husband in line, but he was to much a free spirit. Eventually she managed to convince him not to name their first child Katon, and he agreed. On the night of conception he went back on his word. While his wife was recovering, he put Katon on the childs birth certificate. Katon's life was ordinary, watching his mom and dad argue over the smallest of things, to watching his mom explode in a incredible rage that scared even his shinobi father. Other than these outbursts, he had a loving family. |

Sora was schooled in his home for many years. As Sora grew older, his parents began to notice how healthy the boy actually was. They began letting him wonder around the village, and play with other children. Sora was embraced warmly by his companions. Before long, Sora came to know an elder of the village. The man taught Sora many things, about the world around them. Sora took up these teachings, and believed in them. Sora dedicated a larger portion of his life to studying. When Sora was 9, his parents decided to ask him if he wanted to be enrolled in the shinobi academy. Sora, torn between his family and the teachings of his master, could not decide his path in life. Sora left his parents, without saying a word, and walked to a small stream not far away. He meditated on his choices. On the second day of his meditation, his master came to the river. After a long discussion, full of tears and joy, Sora decided to enroll in the academy. His parents were overjoyed with his choice, and made absolutely sure that he could back home whenever he wanted.
