Hey girls! Foxie here and wow has it been a while since I've been active in this guild. With school and other outside things, I got to busy for gaia in general but as the summer has been going, I've found myself on here more! I was sad to be gone from the guild but I'm very happy to be back!
Anyways, back to the topic at hand! Lately I've been having breakouts of acne on my face. Not necessary blackheads, but you know the acne with the white puss. It's frustrating because I'm usually pretty good at containing a really great complexion.
I guess because I've been more stressed and haven't been able to channel my stress as easily as I used to, it's been getting to my face. Also, the heat isn't helping. My breakout is above my mouth and on my chin mostly. It's not too big, but it keeps growing.
What products do you use? What do you think works best and fastest? Plaese let me know and I hope this helps other girls as well!

I really don't have that much experience with acne(just a handful of other annoying skin stuff) so I might not be the best source. But my friend had really bad breakouts for a while. She used proactive and neutrogena clean & clear. They really worked and she was happy with the results so I guess I will recommend that. A few other simple tips. Try not to put makeup on it unless its mineral makeup. Wash your face often but not with harsh soaps. Popping is a No No.

My mom pops mine, despite that it might cause scarring, so I can't really say. Try washing your face before you go to bed or when you get hot to get the sweat off?

I get rubbing alcohol and I put it on a wash rag, then I wipe my face with it. Drys out the oil and it cleans great. I have very oily skin, and most soaps and treatments make it worse.

I used proactive before but I think my skin couldn't handle for the fact that I was to young for it when I tried. I didn't even have bad acne back then even when breaking out, so it was a stupid decision, lol. But I shall look into it! I try to wash my face a lot already.

I used to pop them, I still do once in a while. But, it hurts to much and I've become afraid of scarring because sometimes when I pop them they don't look so nice after. xD I will try to wash my face more often. o:

I have very oily skin, and most soaps and treatments make it worse. Okay, I'll try this before buying any products! I've been using rubbing alcohol occassionally, since my dad always tells me that will help. But now I'll try doing it like that. thanksss.

It's difficult when it comes to specific products; i tend to find that certain things only work for certain people - every individual is different, so it's easy to waste a lot of money on different products to find out what works. So as Testicular Diabeetus said, rubbing alcohol is the best way to go, especially on a small area as you know it'll work. x3

i used to use rubbing alcohol, but my doctor told me to stop using it because it would dry out my skin. A LOT. if you have really oily skin, i don't see how it could hurt your skin. mine got really dry though, so i stopped using it. anyways, i usually use teatree oil pads, which my mom usually gets from trader joes. you can use pure teatree oil, but i would recommend using it like every other day or something. the smell is REALLY strong too. it is very effective though. i also use a lot of face masks too. that usually dries most of my acne up. cant remember the name of the one i use, i think it's neutrogena brand. hope this helps. i use loreal go 360 clean and nuetrogena oil free acne wash. You have to make sure switch products every few days cause like your hair your skin will get immuned to products. Oh and it also helps if you get a cup of warm water and a tablespoon of salt and aply it all over your face a couple times with a cotton ball
(P.S. my skin isn't very oily , but the loreal stuff worked on my cousins acne and she has very oily skin

My sister came up with this.
Put toothpaste on your zits and stuff. Use spearmint. It will dry it up faster and go away faster. Leave it on for 6 hours.

I've had a few bad experiences with acne, usually around summer, cause where i love it gets really hot and sweaty, bleih. I use this soap stuff that reduces the redness (i dont know what its called, my friend gave it to me) and i use clean & clear. If you have a few spots you can dap alittle toothpaste on them and it dries out the pimple (just wash it off if your heading out) WARNING!: Do not wash your face more than twice a day, as it can cause your skin to produce more oil and cause more acne than you originally had.
Just remember if you drink plenty of water it keeps skin hydrated and washes away toxins. It also gives you a healthy beautiful glow. If you are using product that makes your skin a little dry, remember to moisturise, just make sure it doesnt clogg up pores. Hope this helps smile
