Geoff heard loud cheering as he and Guilmon walked out of the dark tunnel, finding themselves in the middle of a gigantic Colosseum of sorts. In the audience were thousands, dare-say hundreds of thousands, of various types of Digimon cheering and in some cases jeering the two of them.

"...Oh great..." Geoff muttered, exasperated. "NOW what have we gotten ourselves in the middle of?"

"I don't know, but the next time you say I can't decide which route to take because I always lead us into trouble, REMEMBER TODAY!" Guilmon said angrily.

Geoff was about to shoot back, when a loud rumbling got his attention. Looking across the field, he saw a large steel door being opened to reveal another tunnel, and two figures walked out.

"...This could be a problem..." Geoff said, his eyes narrowed.

Christian entered the arena's battlefield with a small grin plastered across his face, which turned to a frown as he saw across the field, what seemed to be a boy about his age. The steel doors that had let him in, were now closed, and the thought of leaving here without having to fight was diminished. He peered to his left to see BlackGuilmon standing, and analyzing the two figures across the arena. "Probably gonna have to fight this one too, bro." He implied to his Guilmon who huffed at his Tamer's remark.

"I'm tired of having to get my hands dirty with such trash." Guilmon retorted as his arm glided out towards the two figures, who had stuck out a finger. "It's time to leave this place." He hollered as his roar was let loose among the crowd, whose own roar surpassed his own.

"What's the deal?! That Digimon looks a lot like you!" Geoff wondered aloud as he held out his Digivice, getting a holographic readout.

Guilmon growled. "Whoever he is, that roaring's getting on my nerves! I'm putting a stop to it right now!"

Guilmon immediately charged towards his black counterpart, Geoff reaching out yelling "Guilmon, wait!"

BlackGuilmon scoffed as his competition made charging a seemly powerful attack, which would be halted by his Fire Grenade. "Fire Grenade!" He roared as a pellet of fire was sent airborne to the charging Guilmon. He released of few more pellets, remembering the Wear-Out tactic he was taught by Christian. His skills would prove other why's to much for the Guilmon, and he would either retire, or be waste in the arena.

Guilmon grunted and growled as he was hit repeatedly by the Fire Grenades and sent rolling across the ground, but managed to whack the ground with his tail and thus flipped onto his hind legs. "Pyro Sphere!!!" he shouted as pellets of flame shot out from his mouth, countering the Fire Grenades as they came.

"This is bad!" Geoff shouted. "If we don't do something, that Black copycat's gonna wear Guilmon out!"

Suddenly, as if a light bulb went off over Geoff's head, the solution came to him. Pulling off his travel bag, he hauled out a container with a large amount of giant cherry pits inside.

"Cherrymon's fruit..." Geoff said. "It worked before...should work now. GUILMON!"

And with that, Geoff kicked the container across the ground, stopping near Guilmon. As Geoff expected, Guilmon immediately got the idea and went for it... Unexpectedly, while Geoff had planned for Guilmon to open the container and take out a couple of fruit, he instead slashed the container open and happily consumed the entire contents.

"...Umm, that might not have been a good idea...!" Geoff muttered, sweatdropping as his Digivice lit up brighter than ever before, sending an array of golden light at Guilmon.

"Guilmon Mega Digivolve to..." Guilmon called out as his body glowed golden light and expanded. "...GALLANTMON!!!"

BlackGuilmon had never liked the alternate form that he could have taken if had chosen too, which was starting to feed into his annoyance. "Wow..." He responded to the Gallantmon, as he leaped into the air, before nodding to Christian.

"Digi-Soul Charge! Dark Evolution!" He hollered as he lifted his unoccupied hand, and threw his Digivice into the air. He kicked forward slamming his Digivice against his hand, and a dark beam of light flying to BlackGuilmon.

BlackGuilmon felt the dark energy absorb into his skin, and give birth to another form. "BlackGuilmon! Warp Digivolve to! ChaosGallantmon!" He finished his voice becoming deeper, and more aggressive. "I'll give you the first move!"

"Very well..." Gallantmon called back, his eyes narrowed as he dug his feet into the ground, holding his shield forward as it began to glow brightly. "Shield of the Just!!!"

Geoff held his arms up, blocking out the enormous blast of light from blinding him as it flew out from the shield to ChaosGallantmon, ready to pulverise him completely.

ChaosGallantmon felt the wing cripple to power of the Shield of the Just, which aimed directly for his torso. His reaction must have been off cause the blast of light had already penetrated his chest. He flew back, and easily used his lance to recollect his positioning, and landed onto his two feet. "Chaos Shot!" He roared as a negative blast of energy went shooting at the Gallanton. He, then lounged forward following the shot for a hard combination.

Gallantmon was rocked hard, getting pummelled by ChaosGallantmon's assault. Geoff watched in horror at what was happening.

"Hang in there!" he cried. "Use your lance!"

"Okay!" Gallantmon shouted. "Lightning Joust!"

Gallantmon swung his lance forward, a gigantic burst of energy pouring out from it and aimed at ChaosGallantmon's head.
