It actually makes sense to rethink it. We can't be hast in pulling the troops out. As much as we want them to come home, if we just pull them out, the enemy could rise up and take back the country. We shouldn't tell anyone when we're pulling out, and the pull out should be slow and gradual so as to not upset the fragile balance in the country.

Much as I hate us interfering in foreign affairs that aren't our business, Ikari is right. A sudden withdrawal will not allow time for the Iraqi government to plan their own defensive strategies and build/train their own military to keep the nation secure from such threats. By withdrawing gradually we allow their government to gradually build up their own forces to cover for our departure.

What about the Terrorist that are already in America? There's more that have made it here that have been plotting for years and could take action at any hour and we wouldn't be as safe.
It's most dangerous when all goes silent and normal than when loud and riled up with rage and excitement. He is who silent is more deadly than he who is threatening.
I think those who have been in Iraq for more than 4 years should come back but those who have been there less or just brought there should stay. especially when BOTH mothers and fathers of the same family are there...think about the kids who have been without their parents for years because of war.
