In the midst of the Artic tundra, there are people who are... Unique. They're are only two races of people, and they differentiate each other by their hair color; Darks and Lights. They never sleep, nor do they find themselves with an apatite. All they've known is death and murder. These people are almost like machines, yet they breathe and can think on their own. The two races have powers beyond any normal human; they feel no cold, and feel no sorrow or emotion... Or so their creators believed.

These... creatures were created by scientist who wanted to make a new race to fight in wars. They were still in testing faze, though. The scientist embedded Darks with the will of good, and Lights with the will of evil. What the scientist didn't know is that they could feel, they could feel sorrow and anger and confusion. They wanted to know who they were. They wanted the truth. They wanted freedom from this frozen tundra that they were caged in. But how can they fight when they don't know whats really right or wrong? How can they mix into a gray?

. : Rules and Notes of the Artic : .

1. Same as every other role play; no godmodding, cursing allowed, no cybering

2. You can only be two races, a Dark or a Light. Now you're asking me "Whats the difference?" Darks have black hair and are good. Lights have white hair and are evil. You make the choice.

3. You can make as many characters as you want as long as you keep up with them.

4. Each Dark and Light have their own "Master" so to say that make sure they do what they're suppose to do and don't rebel. The master's talk to their Dark or Light through telepathy. You control your own master. If you have more than one character and want them all to have the same "master" you are welcome to do that too. Your character will meet your master sometime in the role play... If you wish to kill him/her that is.

Lights

1. Username: Rayne Engel

Name: Echo

Gender: Male

Race: Light

History: Echo kept to himself most of the time. He usually stays huddled in caves to shield himself from the storms. He found them very annoying. He hated living here. He always heard a small voice in his head. He assumed it was a woman, his master. She would command him to go and kill a Dark. He was sometimes almost eager to comply because he had this lust in his gut for bloodshed, but most of the times he found it troublesome and a waste of time, so he avoided it at all costs. Even when a Dark would come after him he would just leave it after beating it to a pulp. Apparently most others didn't know his powers until after a beating. He guessed his master never disclosed his extra... limbs.

Personality: He's serious and silent most of the time. He dreams of one day meeting his master and killing her. Its the only bloodshed he believes is truly justifiable and worthwhile.

Master's Personality: Doesn't show any kindness, but she doesn't seem cruel either. She thinks of it as testing his resistance, durability and strength.

Powers/abilities: Can make invisible "objects" (more like a force) that he uses to block and throw, good at hand in hand combat, also has invisible limbs (6 total, can stretch 10 yards in all directions)

2. Username: Purgatory Twin -Heaven-

Name: Snow

Gender: Female

Race: Light

History: Light has been in a few fights with the Dark, and if it matters they were all two on one, her being one. They never even left a scratch. She prefers to stay around people, travel in groups. She's a relatively new "model" with enhanced combat ability, think of her as an assassin.

Personality: Snow i s actually very friendly and down to earth. She loves to be around people, gives her someone to interact with. Always calm and tactful she makes friends easily, always has been taught to make a better Dark. But once she is given an order from her master, she becomes cool and calculating and silent. She never even says a word about leaving, she just leaves. All bridges can be repaired, after you cross them. Blending would sound like an excellent idea to her, she doesn't really like to fight, but will when she is told to.

Master's Personality: Her master is silent most of the time, only sending her on big jobs. Tho it seems as if she's sent out more and more often. Master is very secretive, never really says more than the names and locations of her next targets.

Powers/abilities: She has increased Flexibility and Agility, much like a cat.

Anything Else: She is the younger "sister" of Frost, tho neither of them are aware of the fact.

Darks

1. Username: Strider the Eternal

Name: River

Gender: Male

Race: Dark

History: River has always been a fighter. He didn't like what he did but he knew he had to. So he accepted that and fought whoever came his way, whenever they came. He was one of the first dozen created and most of the newer of the Darks considered him and several other like him imperfect designs. To the others he was obsolete and wasn't needed. So he fought to prove he deserved to live.

Personality: Doesn't have much of one. being one of the first emotions were seen as a hindrance and unlike many of the newer designs he was completely denied that aspect. But he never backs down and never gives up.

Master's personality: His master is very withdrawn, sometimes not even acknowledging or telepathically addressing him for weeks to months at a time.

Powers/abilities:

Anything else: He likes the rare commodity of cashews.

2.Username: Robotic Cherry Blossom

Name: Silence

Gender: Female

Race: Dark

History: A 'new' design of Dark she doesn't know why she is there or what the voice in her head is. She is still very new to her surroundings and is often lost. She has only been in one fight with a Light. They never found it's body and she doesn't recall the event or, anything before it. She has not been told to fight one since the first...yet. She has had two masters, her current one, and one before that was killed by an escaped Light that had been hers. The Light was found and killed before it could get out of the building.

Personality: She is often afraid but, tries to portray it as caution. She jumps when her master contacts her at random occasions and twitches at most movements or sounds. When backed into a corner she goes into a rage and will not come out until called by a self given name.

Master's Personality: Her master often shows up to her unannounced giving her headaches. She is cruel and enjoys making Silence do what she doesn't want to. She often backs Silence into a corner trying to figure out what the 'useless' dark can do.

Powers/abilities: Silence when looking into someones eyes can see their memories. When she goes into her rage she will erase the memories of anyone that she doesn't recognize. This is very dangerous for her, it causes her to use all her energy also causing her to lose memory.

Anything Else: She has a twitch because of her overwhelming fears. Her self given name is Dove. She only tells those she considers true friends.

3. Username: Purgatory Twin -Heaven-

Name: Frost

Gender: male

Race: Dark

History: Frost has been in many fights with the lights, and has won every one. Some came quite close to loss, but he always found a way to turn it around. With every fight he picks one injury from it, ( usually the most serious one) and causes it to scar, marking the victory.

Personality: Frost is very cocky, but in a quiet reserved sort of way. It's kind of like he feels as if he has authority over people. He is also very blunt. Most other Darks feel as if he should have been a light, and honestly he doesn't mind.a blending wouldn't suit him very well, because that would just make him a murderous Grey instead of a successful Dark.

Master's Personality: His master is cool, calculating and speaks to Frost frequently, almost always sending Frost to kill one Light or another.

Powers/abilities: Think of him as envy from fullmetal alchemist. His Fingernails extend and are mostly unbreakable. They're personalities almost match as well, sept not quite as feminine. ^_^
