don't kill me anyone... I like Harry/Ginny....
Albus/Gellert being canon makes everything beautiful and wonderful and super. <3
I'm also on a huge Neville/Hannah kick at the moment.
God, I WISH I liked Harry/Ginny. I really try to. But Ginny's just....so....forced.
I'm on a big Alice and Frank kick lol I want to know why people don't like Harry/Ginny... so many people have said that she is forced but that's all they tell me... maybe you could explain please! 3nodding
Her characterization in HBP on doesn't feel genuine.
Before, she's a very sweet, relatable character. And then suddenly in HBP she decides to "relax" and suddenly she's super hot, super cool, plays quidditch, kicks a** and makes out with boys in hallways.
She became a totally different character very suddenly and it just feels....fake.
Harry's affection for her springs up out of seemingly no where, and feels very forced.
It's just not well written. It doesn't FEEL real.
Ginny comes off as this 2D, boring mary sue female ideal, and Harry's affection form her was that horrible "chest monster".
I didn't like it.
There's ONE moment where I REALLY enjoy Harry and Ginny's interaction, and that was in OotP when Ginny straight up told him that No, he wasn't possessed, and yes, she would know and yes, he better shut up about it. She had a little spunk there. I saw it. I got it.
But the rest of their interaction feels very stale and cliche and just dull. I couldn't bring myself to give a crap about them.

That is true... I get her playing quidditch and the whole thing where she has some strength but I don't think she should have been amazing. The whole thing where even Zabini likes her is a bit annoying... I do wish she wasn't this girl every guy seemed to fall in love with...
I like the story but those parts do make me mad... |

It's just not a very good love story.
It's like, "Hey girls. Want a boy to like you? completely change your entirely personality and start dating other people. That'll work."
I like how she handled Harry breaking up with her. I like her little "shut up" moment in OotP.
But Ginny from HBP on just bored and irked me, no matter how hard I tried to like her.

silverdreams92 James/Lily Albus/Gellert Neville/Hannah Bill/Fleur Are my favorites. I wanted to like Remus/Tonks, but there's just something odd about it to me.
