Personality: Complex, just like every fleshed-out human being, but that sounds like a cop out doesn't it? Shou is a decent person, or at least he tries to be, being courteous, charming, affable and all things synonymous with those three adjectives. He's charitable and patient, attempts to be wise, loyal and understanding. Beyond his bland 'nice-guy' personality, he's got a few outstanding personality traits. He's charismatic, able to sway others with words as easily as breathing. Secondly, he's ambitious. Ruthlessly so, but it's all for the betterment of his fellow countrymen. Lastly, he's pragmatic and practical, as redundant as that might sound. If he does have a personality flaw, though, it's his anger. Once it takes hold, it happens to fester. It may not explode immediately, but when his fuse finally burns out, boy does the s**t go down.

Strengths:
• Charm: Shou is likable, and works it to his advantage. It's easy to listen to him, and Shou makes it a very alluring prospect to want to befriend him.
• Balance: Shou believes that, while specializing isn't something to sneer at, a general competence in most, if not all, areas is the key to victory. He's adept at genjutsu, bukijutsu, as well as ninjutsu and eiseijutsu. His only area of ineptitude being, of course, taijutsu.
• Intelligence: Shou has shown that he is both intelligent and perceptive, possessing a keen mind and the ability to use it. A good memory, an eye for detail, and a lot of wit gives him a far better weapon than anything he could physically acquire.
• Ambition: Unlike some, Shou is willing to go the extra mile to see his ambitions realized. He'll take a knife to the gut and do his best to ignore it if it will help him realize his dreams.

• His ambitions can get the better of him.
• Taijutsu isn't his strongest suit. If he's armed, he's fine, but he's less-than-stellar when it comes to unarmed combat.
• Shou is rather prideful. His pride can blind him to more practical options.
• Shou tends to hold grudges even when it would be impractical to do so, chalk it up to emotions.
