I am gradually working on coming back. My life kinda got turned upside down, and then Adam compounded it all by killing himself, and I kinda had to give up EVERYTHING and move 1500 miles with no planning time. Basically clothes... is all I was able to keep and take with me. I did salvage my patterns that I had drawn out for my corsets but that does little good for me right now as I do not have the time to work on them.
Nor do I have my electronic copies of them as the FBI, [yes you read that right] has my laptop, Thank you Adam, and your felony internet activities that I didn't know about.... But there is no idea when I will get my laptop back, so I might be sporadic, until I get a new one... But I'm here and I'm alive.
Considering the state of mind he was in, and that he had the gun in the apartment I consider myself very lucky to still be alive. But, hey... What doesn't kill us...

Sounds like you went through a really hard time.

^ this is my reaction. I am very happy that you're still alive! You, Gabby and Cowgirl have been some of my closest friends lately, I couldn't imagine life without you, even though we only talk online. Don't blame yourself for not knowing what was going on, people doing illegal activities, especially if they're what I'm thinking, tend to hide that stuff very well from everyone.

WOW. Just WOW Akiska, I am SO sorry about everything you have gone through. I am so glad you are alive (though sorry we aren't neighbors anymore as we never got to meet!)
I have missed you and am so glad you are okay, considering. The FBI?! JEEZ! You could sell movie rights, girl! Seriously though, know that we have missed you and love you!!!
