if no one is there to hear it crash?
Does a fire still burn,
if no one can feel it's heat?
Does a child still cry,
if no one is there to comfort them?
Does the sun still rise,
if no one wakes up?
Does a person still call,
if no one picks up?
Does the snow still melt,
if no one hopes for spring?
Is everything really how it seems?
Will we ever rise from these ashes?
Is the world coming to an end?
Will we ever live to see tomorrow?
Does asking a question,
mean there's an answer?
Does speaking your mind,
mean there's no heart?
Does a bird still chirp,
if it doesn't know the song?
Does the wind still blow,
if there are no leaves to rustle?
How can you prove these false,
if you can't prove them true?
How can you give a fact,
if you've never had an opinion?
