My seasonal job came to an end. Actually I saw I wasn't being kept and quit. They gave me stupid hours for the last two days anyway, and I didn't feel like dealing with it all for MAYBE $80.
So.. I'm back to square one! I get paid Friday and know I could totally afford a bunny and all that it needs, but clearly I don't have the money to upkeep it. So.. obviously I'm not getting a bunny. Though some part of me still wonders if I should get an older puppy instead. I need one that's old enough to be able to hold it's bladder for a few hours, but I still want it to be young.. so I was thinking if I do go for the puppy, maybe 6-9 months? I dunno...
Back to my point. Dammit, I hate this. First job in 3 years and it lasts one month. And I'm rather broken up in the head, so that month was pretty good for me. I quit because with how I was falling apart that day, I was going to get fired before they let me go. (especially after all the bullshit and then they were going to let me go yet keep someone else who's always late and constantly texting instead of working)
crying Someone tell petco or petsmart to hire me, PLEASE!! That'd be so freaking awesome. I tried petland, but apparently they didn't choose me (I even had an interview!). Anyway. Stupid area doesn't have any local petstores that are hiring at all. I mean, I keep trying and they're just not hiring. And I want to work with animals. *flail*

Good luck! Just take what you can until a job at a pet store opens up, but let them know that you're available!

Vanilla eXee Good luck! Just take what you can until a job at a pet store opens up, but let them know that you're available! This. Any job is better than no job. Just leave a resume with all the pet stores, and check in every month or so. Do you have any feed stores in your area? Or even home/hardware stores with pet sections. If so, try them. It wouldn't be quite the same as a standard pet store, but you'd still be working with animal stuff, at least.
