I just came out as genderqueer

to my dad's girlfriend. So far only my sister and two friends know. SHe hasn't replied yet (we're talking on facebook) and I'm so nervous. My hands are shaking and my stomach. Gahhh. I know she won't react badly so idk why I'm nervous but I amm. sad

I know how you feel. No matter how many times I come out as transgender, I still get super nervous! I see that it's been a few days since you've posted this, but I'll respond anyway, just in case. smile

Since you said that you know that she won't react badly I feel confident enough to say that I don't think she'll react badly either! Even if the initial reaction isn't as good as you'd hope for, if this person cares about you I'm sure things will work out in no time. Just keep your head up! heart
