Mei had been doing, and trying most things to keep her mind occupied from all the recent events at amityville. But nothing quite seemed to work. The last two trips she had been on, she had died. The recent attack on school grounds, she had died. This was something that bothered her immensely. The only trip she could recall surviving, was the Christmas raid from last year--which was what made her nervous. No doubt, something would be happening this year..and with the hunters pretty much on their tails everywhere they go, she knew that something would most likely happen. She just hoped that nothing would.
She would have driven herself insane going over all the scenarios, of the worst possible cases of things to happen, if it wasn't for Holly having inviting her to spar with her. Of course, Mei accepted. Anything to let off steam, and get her mind of things, if at least for a little while. Besides, she had hardly had the chance to get to know the ghoul. This was probably the best time to do it.
Upon arriving at the gym, Mei easily located the ghoul--thanks to the gym being empty--and walked up to her. "Hey, Holly. Thanks for the invite." Half grinning, she nodded to her question. "Sure am."

Stretching out her arm, she nodded to the ghoul. She had to agree. It was better to get in some good sparring practice with someone, especially after all the crap that had gone on. If this was a way to help her improve, than by all means, she would spar with anyone she could for this. Thankfully, Holly was the one who did the inviting this time.
She hadn't known Holly for all that long--even if she had seen her about the school before. She had conversed with her when they were teleported to some off place with speeding objects that nearly clocked them, and again on the last trip they had been on. From what she could tell, she was a pretty cool ghoul.
Moving back a fair distance, she took her own stance when Holly took hers. "Sure, I guess I can get this started." Now, she had no idea how skilled of a fighter Holly was, so this..could possibly end badly for the broken doll. However, she was determined to have as much fun possible.
