[1v1] Vicious Valkyries (Freya & Hel) [FIN]

Okay…so it took a while for Hel to get around to it, but the point was she didn’t forget.

Freya needed to be challenged for what she did to Mot, and Hel was about to get back at her, right now. The reaper had pounded on her sister’s door, told her to meet her at the outdoor arena, and then fled out the door to meet her there. Now, she was standing in the middle of the open area, checking the straps on her gauntlet and greaves as she waited for her older sister to arrive.

Freya arrived at the field right on tim- that phrase can't even be written fully without laughter. Let's be honest, Freya took her sweet a** time getting to that field. She considered not even showing up, but she would never back out on a fight with her sister. Never.

So, eventually, she showed up at the field in her best fighting gear, and tied her hair back as tightly as she could.

"Hiiiiiiii, crumpet~" She singsonged, giving her sister the sweetest, brightest smile she could afford. "How's Mot?"

Hel knew her sister. Duh, she was her sister. So the reaper was not surprised that Freya took her sweet a** time getting here.

So thus when her sister finally did arrive, the ghoul wasted no time in holding out her hand and summoning her weapon. Where as Freya started the sweet approach, Hel just downright sneered, the anger from the fieldtrip surfacing once more. “Oh, just fine, no thanks to you, sister. I know what you did to him.” Hel pointed her spear at Freya threateningly. “You will pay.”

Oh gods. Ohhhh, gods. Freya's face went white as a sheet. The only upside to Hel taking her vengeance out on Freya in a fight, was that this was probably the best alternative Freya could have hoped for, if she'd found out. At least Hel could take it out of Freya's hide, instead of doing something that would have hurt Freya far more than the beating she was about to receive.

Like never talk to her again.

Freya was more than ready to let her sister beat her unconscious, rather than face that fate. She loved Hel far too much to ever lose her.

Her fingers stretched out, as her scythe was summoned out of the palm of her hand, and she took a strong fighting stance. As ready as she was to get her a** kicked, it would be an insult not to fight back.

And she was not in the mood to insult her baby sister.

"We'll sees about that, crumpet!" She trembled out.

Yes, Hel also knew that at this point in time, she was stronger than her sister. Not that it would have stopped her from challenging her regardless. But now…Hel was just ready to demolish her and get it over with.

The reaper crouched, and then leapt into the air, her wings beating furiously as she rocketed upward. She looked down at her sister, just challenging her to start to come after her. This was how Valks rolled.

Freya watched her sister rise, a skeptical look on her face all the while. When she was gestured for, her wings unfolded behind her, the shadows beneath them mirroring her gloomy mood. They flapped once, and her body was jolted up into the air. Then they spread and pushed against the air underneath them with each powerful thrash, until she was hovering in the air, bobbing gently in front of Hel.

The first swing was a test, a taste. She turned her scythe to it's blunt end, and poked her sister right in the stomach.

"Go on then, brings the ladybird down. If yeh cans."

Had she just used Herryk's nickname for her, on herself?

Hel scowled, loudly, as her sister used the blunt end of her weapon to poke her.

The reaper smacked the weapon away from her with a gauntlet covered arm. “I can and I will bring the harpybird down.” Hel retorted, climbing into the air once more before seriously starting this match. Gaining more altitude than her sister, the ghoul then held her spear out and soared down, looking to lunge at Freya with her spear outstretched.

Famine came down on her, and she screeched, earning the nickname her sister had just coined on her. She belatedly parried, her scythe blocking nothing, and instead used the edge to wrap around her sister's waist. The arm she held the weapon with suddenly tugged in, to swivel her sister around even as the scythe cut a circle around her sister's waist.

She should have had a sarcastic comment for her sister, snapping back as quickly as she could - but she was just snapping her weapon out silently, intent on trying to get as much damage as she could. She had quite the disadvantage, being so new to Amityville - and the look on her face said she was deadly serious about giving this particular fight her all.

Hel was all too familiar with this trick of her sister’s, but fell for it regardless. Hel grimaced as she was cut and pulled around by her sister’s scythe, and after gathering her bearings, climbed higher into the sky once more. She swung her weapon in a fast arch on her way up, striking at the older valkyrie.

Freya twisted in mid-air, her wings faltering as the slice came up and knocked her right around. She let out a cough of a laugh, barely slicing at her sister with the top edge of the slice in a spectacular miss.

"Ach, crumpet, I know yeh mads at me, but we haven't done this in way too long. I missed it!"

Hel batted at her sister’s scythe once more with a gauntlet covered arm, barely noticing the small tap she had landed.

“Reminisce at me after this battle, sister!” Hel was apparently still not on the mood to be friendly. “Right now, I am out for your blood!” The ghoul swung her spear at her sister again, but ended up catching nothing but air this time.

Freya watched the weapon slid past her, feeling the brush of air against her skin as it barely missed. Her smile disappeared, and she jabbed her scythe against Hel, aiming right for her middle.

"I DON'T SEES ANY OF MY BLOODS, CRUMPET!" She hollered, teasing her - but her playful attitude did not reach her eyes. Hel wasn't enjoying herself nearly as much as she should be.. she must be really mad.

After that strike missed, Hel was hot on her sister’s trail though, pumping her wings to keep up with the older valkyrie.

The valkyrie let out a small grunt as she was jabbed, and her lips pulled into a twisted smirk at her sister’s taunt. “Oh, you will. I’ll paint the sky red with it!” Though those were some mighty boastful words, as she lunged at her sister with her spear, it only grazed her. Still, a hit was a hit!

As thrilling as such a statement was, Freya was acutely aware that Hel was being quite serious about her claim. Inasmuch as she was happy to be sparring her sister again.. Freya liked her blood exactly where it was, thanks.

She feinted and winced as the slice cut her, backing away to make herself a harder, moving target.

Freya had an easier time climbing into the air; of this Hel was very aware. The fact that she had to work harder to climb after her didn’t bother her though. Hel wasn’t a nearly endless bundle of energy for no reason! She could thank chasing her sisters for sixteen years with a smaller wing span for the stamina she had now.

The younger valkyrie chased after her sister, sweeping her spear at her again. “Come on, Freya!” The ghoul sneered, goading her. “Is this all you can do? And you call yourself a Brynhildr?”
