Snow falls around With very little sound And here with me Is a bright tall tree Christmas, Christmas time is near Family's all around, everyone whom I hold dear We laugh and sing and wait for Santa Claus We recall all the stories heard Of ancient years' words:
"Long ago in a winter past There was a woman (simple quiet woman). She was strong and brave; God heard her name and sent an angel. The angel told her: 'Mary, Mary, virgin Mary- your child's name shall last!' She knelt in a stall among the straw, There was our Christ and saviour born. Among the animals grazing, an angel's choir sang to him He slept in a stall that winter's morning."
Now we celebrate this boy's birth On the night of his birth we go to praise His name and God forevermore-- (Yet irony exists on this day) Jesus was laid in a stable manger (In celebration women paint their faces) Jesus Christ, God's son, was born that day (In celebration top hats and canes are worn) We sit in the church with the candles glinting brightly (We wait to go home, it's cold, it's boring) Then we'll eat, drink, and be merry (we worship simplicity in such a gaudy way)
And the snow shall fall Lay white over all Cleansing the land Feathers drifting down among all the Clothed shoulders and children's feet Bringing with it silence And cold
Now music pours from every doorway Wine is brought and eggnog poured Laughter fades into the midnight sky And warmth is all around Love and caring and joy in the season That we all are together is enough We need no more
The Star glints in the sky No one is there to see it They are inside; their fires Warm every gaze Makeup and silk and packages wrapped Are protected from the winter's wrath And no one braves the cold But my heart and I
I can hear the children laughing in the house next door I can see the cars driving past on their way home And the cross worn to oblige our mother- The chain of a necklace draped over a chair And the lights go out indoors And the stairs creak as they're climbed "Goodnight. Goodbye. I'll see you in the morning." They all forget this evening's service They all weave past on love and closeness Nobody wants to wait for expensive gifts Nobody sees the Star in the sky but me
And I knelt in the snow and prayed On the morning of Christmas Day

Very bad, but what the heck. Is this still going on? Idc, I JUST WANNA WRITE A POEM biggrin
It was the utmost wonderful time of the season. And Top hats were donned, without reason. The angels above shed their feathers, which turned into frosty, wintry weather. The snowflakes so gentle, caressing the ground Were able to do this without the slightest sound. As Winter exhaled a coldhearted gust, those on the ground rejoiced to Jesus' lust. And across the land spread a jolly mirth, Celebrating our savior's birth. Now every Christmas, you know what that is. We rejoice to a birthday, and it's his.

umm Jesus and lust should probably never be in the sentence, read Matthew Chapter 5 on that x.x.
ok my turn [since i made it and the deadlines almost due]
What a beautiful time, a beautiful tree, what wonderful stuff that santa gave to me He has for me a list, Am i Naughty or Nice? Is this guy for real? Lemme give ya some advice.
If a fat guy comes to my home in a jolly old manner he's not getting hugs, or even my daily planner If he has a giant sack, i don't believe he'll be giving for those gifts i bought weren't cheap, should i be so forgiving?
He's wearing lots of red, and he's keeping a check on you Could you tell by his treads, he's a communist too! Last i checked he wasn't the Lord so with my top hat, i'll take what he hoards
for its made of solid steel, a metal of sorts won't you be with me friends? Be my cohorts! I'm not teaching any lies, and i'm not full of doubt i'm just doing what i should, and throwing the buffoon out.
For this season is about forgiveness, and the birth of a savior and these presents i hold, the gifts that i pay for the selfish credit is mine, and the giving is all i need And later my gift is the gospel, and spreading the seed
yup had to!!! [sorry Santa lovers!]
