Al barely grabbed his staff and extended it infront of his chest, causing the dangerous kick to impact upon it (cracking it slightly) and knocking him backwards into the perimeter wall. Groaning slightly, he blacked out as his head whiplashed against the hard stone wall.

Taka stood up shakily and moved to the unconscious genin holding two fingers to his arteries in his neck checking his pulse. He was still alive, a weak but present pulse pounding against her fingerpads. Koshi meanwhile started licking her wounds. She then leaned against the wall herself for a brief respite until the ref called it.

"Alright, you two! That's enough!" Yuka-chan's voice boomed over the fight grounds as everything mysteriously reset and medical Shinobi roused Alvard and healed them both. When they were both attentive and healthy again, she would continue: "Ivilice receives a whopping total of 8 points and Alvard gets a decent 6! Congratulations, both contestants! Please return to the lodge and wait for the others; I'll be letting you know your prizes later!"

Once Al was revived he stood at attention with Taka. Upon hearing their scores he sighed, but perked up at the mention of prizes. Giving a relaxed and cheerful bow to his opponent, he collected his scattered tools, put on a pair of replacement pants offered by a medical officer, and made his way back to the lodge.
