General Information: Break believes that both agility and endurance is the best asset for a to trick or treater to have, so with the interest of looking for potential among the students he invites you all to try his course.

The Course: Thunder Road
A rocky, uneven road built to test the students and see how they handle themselves across rough terrain. Your student must run through the entire course, up hill, and keep running without stopping. If they slow their pace or come to a complete stop, they'll be struck by lightning and it will be the end of the line for them!

Course can be ran solo or in groups.

Win - You've survived five rounds of dice rolls and crossed the finish line!
Lose - If your HP has reached zero, there is a narrow path on each side of the course. Hop off onto it and exit the room. If insta-killed, you dissipate and wake-up in Nurse Cricket's Office.

Mechanics: Roll a one 8-sided die to determine the results your student will get and make sure to adjust your HP accordingly
Each time you survive a round, repeat the above until you complete the course.

Bonus Mechanics:
If you get a lousy roll, a Y2 or Y3 student may roll a one 6-sided die ( ONE TIME ONLY ) and attempt to evade the hit.

Y2 students must roll a 5 or 6 to evade the lightning.
Y3 students must roll an even number to evade the lightning.

A new day had come, meaning it was time for a new attempt. Yesterday had gone rather poorly in his opinion, so Shun was really hoping to amp things up for today.

"Good luck," he said quietly to his lycan, before speeding on up the hill.

Round1:
HP: 40  

[Inu-Mitsu]

Mitsu stared up the hill, her brows furrowed lightly watching the lightening flash about. She knew its merciless actions would only find her should she hesitate. It wouldn't stop her though, she wanted to see Shun through this to the end.

"You too." She nodded following him up the hill as he started. She made a pretty good start, her feet finding the path but at some point she slipped and in was in that moment that a crack of lightening flashed and zapped her. Twitching Mitsu continued on.

"Augh!" he cried out as some lightning hit him pretty squarely. Shun soon cursed under his breath as things usually went quickly downhill after taking a hit like that. He tried his best to keep up his speed, however.

Round 2
HP: 20  

[Inu-Mitsu]

Surprisingly Mitsu was able to pick up her pace her legs taking her through the path and dodging more lightening strikes. She really didn't want to be hit again but she was starting to realize getting through this course didn't entirely rely on being fast. A lot of it was dumb luck.

Hearing Shun cry out she searched for him on the path finally spotting him ahead with relief. Last time he had just vanished without a trace. "Keep going!"

Gritting his teeth, Shun heard Mitsu and did what he could to keep up. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw something coming very fast at him. As a last minute train of thought, he summoned his daggers and threw them high into the air, where they caught the bolt's electricity, leaving him safe for the time being.

Round 3 - DODGED THE LIGHTNING (check next roll)

Dagger lightning rods? yes?  

[Inu-Mitsu]

Mitsu had just about been ready to scream seeing the lightening heading toward Shun ready to take him out. It only surprised her to no end to see her reaper's ability to take control of the situation and react. There had been mere seconds and he had managed to dodge flawlessly.

She wanted to congratulate him but that would have to wait. Instead she just barely managed to avoid another lightening strike of her own, her feet taking her quickly down the path.

That had been a rather close call. Though right now, Shun didn't have any time to think about what he just did. He just kept rushing on up the hill, seeing the end not too far off. Just a little further.

Round 4
HP 20  

[Inu-Mitsu]

Mitsu kept on going but it seemed at some point she had slowed in their uphill course. She hadn't realized it but the storm clouds over head sure had. Or perhaps they had just waited for the perfect opportunity to strike. Either way she took a strong bolt to the chest, her body jarred as she tried to continue.

Shun heard the roar of thunder nearby, and he caught some smoke out of the corner of his eyes.

"We're almost there!" he called out to Mitsu as he mustered up all the energy he could to reach the top. There, he stood, realizing that he had actually made it. He was a little stunned, and hyped up on adrenaline, so the realization was coming to him a little slowly.

Round 5
HP: 20  

[Inu-Mitsu]

Almost there indeed. Despite the lack of muscle function in her legs Mitsu made her way to the top. As soon as her feet touched safe ground she pounced her reaper, arms wrapping around his shoulders as her legs threatened to give up. "We made it!"

The pure joy that they had both made it filled her with such pride. Without thinking she pulled herself closer, pressing her lips to the reaper's cheek which resulted in a small shock. Her body was still very electrified and it gave her another jolt.

Soon, Shun realized that Mitsu had made it to the top as well, though a little more worn down than himself. Feeling a surge of pride (as well as a bit of electricity), he held onto her tightly. At the little kiss, he jolted from the little shock, but shrugged it off.

"We did it," he said quietly but firmly, "Now we don't need to get our daily dosage of electricity, hm?"  

[Inu-Mitsu]

"Eh heh..." Was that his sense of humor showing? Despite her awkward laugh and small smile she pulled herself in again for another kiss. Thankfully this one lacked the spark and jolt of the last one.

"Let's head back and relax." Far more than ready to let her unsteady legs have a rest. It was a relief to know they were done. Thank Jack for that.
