I had a suggestion for two new (Super-simple) breeds, but BEFORE I post it... I decided to, yano... Ask first. Would goat or donkey ears be considered a mutant feature? I picked over the customs thread and what's considered a mutant and what's not... I'm pretty sure the goat would be, but I'm unsure about the donkey ears.

I'm about 99% certain that it would be considered a mutation.

Yup! It's a mutant trait. :3

In the custom forms, when it's saying what's considered a mutant, it says:
" non-equid ears ". Aka non-horse ears.

I think my hangup on the donkey ears is that... Donkies are equids, technically speaking, but... Still unsure xd

Currently it's not allowed on full sized soquili, as it's currently not something that we've figured out where it would fit species wise since, while equids, they are not Horses.

Perhaps we'll figure it as a cerynei trait since moose are a type of deer with similar ears to donkeys and cerynei take after deer, but at the current time its a mutant. It might change once we figure out whether or not that fits within cerynei breed edits.

Currently, the only ones that CAN have them without it being a mutation is the Nymph mini-breed, which has longer, fluffier ears.

However I'll bring it up at the next meeting asking whether or not its a Cerynei trait -- I'll update you on the final say from Sirenz.

Edit: It is a mutation and will NOT be a species. We have too many species.
