Not much is known about Chokichi except that when he was four years old, his parents abandoned him because they were scared of his strong inherited Sakkakugan powers. He wondered around aimlessly, by himself, until a ninja from the Hidden Mist Village found him and took him back to the village. There he was adopted and raised by a ninja couple.
About two years later after beginning adopted by the ninja couple, Chokichi's life seemed perfect. The couple had raised him as though he was their own. But one night while Chokichi was sleeping, his powers went out of control. When he woke up the next day, he found the ninja couple dead.
He was accused by people of murdering the ninja couple, in cold blood, but the charges were dropped after the investigators found a journal dating to when the couple first took Chokichi in as their own, and the date of the night they died. As they read it it showed that Chokichi didn't know that his power was so great and out of control. No matter how much they tried to teach him, his power just seemed to get even more out of control.
In the last 4 months of the journal it said, "I believe that Chokichi is a talented boy and will be a great ninja one day. We have a lot to teach and show him, so he'll be able to control his powers. I hate that we have to keep lying to him about where we got some of our scars from, even though we got them from him, but we think it's for the best. We Love Him So Much. He's The Best Thing That Has Happened To Us."
After charges were dropped, they never gave him the journal. They told him that the couple always 'hated' him and were only raising him to keep out of debt, which was a lie of course. But Chokichi had no choice, but to believe them. He was young and scared. All parents kept their children away from him because he was supposedly a 'threat to society'.

Life in Takigakure
Growing up, Kin was a child who caused trouble for his family and Takigakure. Because he was so strong he felt as though he could do anything he wanted, everywhere he went something bad would happen. This started to make his clan members look bad, something some of them didn't want again. The only person that ever showed him love and cared about him was his mother. She would encourage him to try harder to make friends and would scold him when he got in trouble. He feared his father, because he would tease, tortured, and yelled at him about he how he hated having a son. He never received any form of affection from his father.
When Kin was twelve years old, his mother passed away while on a mission. Once he found out he was devastated. The death of his mother drove him into a deep depression and he was unable to perform difficult tasks. When he was sent on an important mission, his team failed and as punishment, he was treated harshly and thrown into a prison.
By the age of fourteen, he was over his mother's death. He continued trying to make friends like his mother said and continued causing trouble in the process. One night when Kin was called to a council meeting, he was told that to keep the village safe, he was being sold as a slave. Objecting to this decision, he ran to his father for help where he found out that it was his father's idea to sell him in the first place.
The night before he was being sold away, he escaped from Takigakure. Once the village found out he was missing, they sent ninja to hunt him down and bring him back. After a month of looking for Kin, the hunt for him was called off. Everyone was glad that he was gone, but they had to find a replacement slave.
Life in Sunagakure
After running away from Takigakure, Kin made his way to the Wind Country, but he was lost. In the vast desert he couldn't find any food or water. Sand ninja that were pasting by carried him to Sunagakure, where he remains until today.
Now sixteen years of age, Kin has finally finished the Academy and is on his way to become a Genin. He promises to help protect the village with everything he has.

Objecting to this decision, he ran to his father for help where he found out that it was his father's idea to sell him in the first place.
The night before he was being sold away, he escaped from Takigakure. Once the village found out he was missing, they sent ninja to hunt him down and bring him back. After a month of looking for Kin, the hunt for him was called off. Everyone was glad that he was gone, but they had to find a replacement slave.
Life in Sunagakure
After running away from Takigakure, Kin made his way to the Wind Country, but he was lost. In the vast desert he couldn't find any food or water. Sand ninja that were pasting by carried him to Sunagakure, where he remains until today.
Now sixteen years of age, Kin has finally finished the Academy and is on his way to become a Genin. He promises to help protect the village with everything he has.
