Usagi Yojimbo

I'm a longtime fan of Stan Sakai's "Usagi Yojimbo" comic book series. It's an anthropomorphic chanbara comic book which was originally meant to be a fictional retelling of Miyamoto Musashi's life.However during development sketches Sta drew bunny ears on "Musashi" which gave him the idea to do a completely new character and story... that of Miyamoto Usagi. For those who grew up to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Usagi has made guest star appearances in the shows.

I just want to know if anyone else in the guild has heard of/read the comic.

I've heard of it but sadly I will admit that I have never gotten around to reading the comic. How sad indeed. sweatdrop

Yeah i remember him being in TMNT (the original) Did he create them as well?

Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird created the original TMNT comics.

Also, I didn't know there were UY fans in the GGG.

Basically, one was a flashback where he was a kid, and he attacked a grown coyote samurai. The samurai beat him up and left him in the mud.

So Yusagi grows up and tracks the man down, and finally finds him in a tea house.

He then sat down and thanked him.

You know Yojimbo is not really the name of the samurai in Yojimbo, it means bodyguard.
