[Open Class] Natural Habitat 3-Horseman Trial [Shehk] [Fail]

It was becoming almost compulsive - Shehk had to do this. She needed to. For her own sake. She had done it in Shady Hollow, why couldn't she do it here?

Why was this forest trying to put her down? Because it was a jerk. Shehk didn't really like that, to be honest. Still, she put on her best brave face, and she took off her shoes. She needed to do this like it really was a natural habitat - and she could work her body to make sure it could handle the not-so-gentle terrain.

Because dammit, she had to.

The first trinket was easy enough for Shehk to find as she stepped into the forest, the earth cracking beneath her feet. It was that cracking that told her that she'd been betrayed by her own body - the very thing she had been trying so hard to not let happen. She had willed herself to have the ability to do this, dammit, and jack so help her, she was going to get it done.

Still, too soon came the flashing, the sound of something moving behind her as she suddenly billowed fog from her mouth, and stepped into it, her body becoming nothing but a large silver blur against the already foggy landscape of trees and slowly patrolling lights. There was something unsettling about the entire thing, really.

But perhaps that had been the point.

Her ears perked up as she heard something behind her, turning to see a bright flash, before she swore, bolting. She had to run. This was stupid. It was all really, really, stupid. Not the task, but rather that she was failing at the task, suddenly diving into some bushes. There was a trinket here, and she snatched it up greedily to go with her first one.

Two more trinkets were found rather easily after that, leaving her at four. Four was good. Another was found after nearly running in one of the patrolling creatures - a white and green creature that was very ominous, really.

It was on grabbing what would be her sixth trinket that everything seemed to go to hell, looking up as a creature suddenly thundered through the trees towards her, her eyes wide. "********." she swore, turning to bolt, running for the hills. But it seemed that without a concrete place to hide, it was easy enough for the creature to catch up with her, feeling its arms wrap around her neck.

With air not being necessary for an undead to live, however, it proved to be an uncomfortable hold.

The rock to her head seemed to do really well in grounding her, however.

Things went dark.

She had failed once again.
