[OFFICE] Zixil Braxton's "Office" (/Hoarding Room)

If you've come in search of the Arts and Crafts professor, you have arrived in the right place. The door is simple enough, always kept closed, nearly identical to all of the other doors; it may not have been quite as immediately obvious whose office this was had there not been a sign stuck to the door witch muck tape:

Sounds about right.

If you've only come to drop off your homework, there is a wide slot about two feet from the ground. Shoving your homework through this slot deposits it in a basket for Zixil to collect...at some point.

If you need to speak with the professor, or your homework won't fit, it just takes one heavy knock on the door. With a grating mechanical grinding, it swings open, apparently attached to some mechanism that senses the vibrations and lets visitors in automatically. No need for him to stand up for unnecessary reasons.

Every inch of the wall has something on it - a poster, a print, a clipping from a paper, artwork ranging in varying degrees of success. There is at least one shelf per wall, two on the farthest wall, all filled to the brim with books and knicknacks. Boxes are stacked as high as they can possibly go on the tops of the shelves, each taped down with the same muck tape used to hang the sign. One appears to be moving.

The professor's desk is covered in all manner of both bizarre and mundane items, save for a blocked-off square about 2x2 feet, which looks like it is used for grading assignments. A stack of large envelopes, all stamped and addressed to some of the wealthiest denizens of Halloween, is just barely visible on the desk's left corner. They all rest against the wall, and some envelopes seem to be venturing down into the crack between desk and wall. They will probably never be heard from again.

A 4-foot safe that once resided in his classroom has been moved into his office, and now sits in a buckling chair next to him at the desk. The same consideration for seating has not been given for students: this office is standing room only.

The Monster, The Myth, The Legend

Name: Zixil Braxton
Nicknames: Zix, several unsavory curses
Gender: Male

After way too many massacres of goblinfolk for the treasures that they guarded, goblins had to learn some new tricks. Zixil is able to slip into nooks and crannies or just generally make himself invisible in one way or another, even if it means hiding in plain sight. What do you mean? There’s nothing behind this lamppost. Under extreme duress - and only in circumstances of such, as it seems to be activated by stress or adrenaline - his skin can change colors like a lizard. This is limited by the fact that it is unable to take on colors that are not greens, browns, or other colors found in a natural setting.

This is especially handy in the classroom setting, Zixil figures, when a kid asks one of those questions that you just don’t want to answer.

Personality: Like many other goblins, Zixil likes stuff. He likes shiny things, pretty things, easily stackable things...and has a special adoration for anything that gets him pumpkin seeds, because they are all of those things. He’s not the brightest of creatures, and generally attempts more unsavory things than not when plans for pumpkin seeds are involved. There’s a great scam in everything!

He took on the Amityville Academy job because he thought that it would be easy. He has never spent an extended period of time with teenagers (outside of the period where he was one), hence his unfortunate misconception.

What do they do at Amityville Academy?: "Arts and Crafts". Or, you know, something close enough.

FEAR: Intense Focus (uses Battle Cry):
When Zixil’s FEAR is activated, he can essentially “lock on” to something in a way that gives him more power to accomplish his needs. If something is buried several feet beneath solid ground, for example, his FEAR would allow him to dig straight to it, despite his lack of clawy mole-hands. In battle, this allows him to attack with powerful blows - he is able to mentally target an area and pummel his opponent with an increased strength.

Physical Description:
Height: Not much taller than the average student (standing on the tables and chairs tends to help this).
Eye Colour: gold/brown
Hair Colour/Style: Shortish, black; he has obviously made an attempt to style his hair in a way that might appear businesslike, but he's not really fooling anyone.
Skin Colour: green!
Clothing Style/Colours: Essentially a skeevy door-to-door salesman kind of getup. Usually it doesn’t match, but he makes himself look totally credible by putting on a pair of horn-rimmed glasses that have no actual glass in them.
Extra: A spaded tail.
