You can get items on gaia (as in gaia items) by sponsored events, like the Coca Cola event when you had to watch or play cards or something and received a free gift in exchange. As for zOMG! I have absolutely no clue since most of the rings are soulbound and absolutely impossible to sell or gift to others. I suggest you go ask in the Q & A forum since what you're asking will most likely be answered there as you have no luck here. Now, with the free items again I am pretty sure there is a thread on free stuff you can get from past sponsored events like the Starmony, Double Rainbow, and others. Hope this helped even though I have no idea what I'm doing.
