Seasonique. Ladies want less periods and some companies have caught on. Seasonique is a combination birth control pill (has both estrogen and progesterone hormones) that allows the user to get only four periods a year, each lasting about four days. A four-day period would be pretty awesome compared to the average seven days.

Seasonale. Although Seasonale sounds like Seasonique, it is different. Seasonale is a birth control pill that allows the user only four periods a year, but the period will last the full seven days. Seasonale also comes with placebo pills.

Just remember, guys, if any of you do go on any of those (or any birth control) talk to your doctor first! It's confidential, anyway, don't forget, and you should get a professional's advice on whether or not to go on any new medication. I also believe there were recent problems with the birth control Yaz, so just be careful! If have separate strengths, take the extra low doses if you can!

i take these birth control pills, it's just like regular birth control, but instead of a week of placebos, you just continue with the next cycle of hormones. I started with yaz, asked my doctor if it's alright if i could just hop onto the next cycle she said it was okay, but after the third month take the placebos and have a period, which only lasted about 4 days. not only do i have pill sbecause im sexually active, i have them because i do not produce enough estrogen and too much testosterone. i like not having periods every month, no cramps no bloating and the mood swings...what mood swings?!
