Deep breaths. Shehk needed to learn to take her time on this. Being stealthy wasn't about being quick, but still. That boil - Shun. He'd said to take her time and not get anxious. So that was what she had to do. Not get anxious. It was easy to get anxious, after all. So this?

This was a matter of clearing her head, yes. Clearing her head. Why couldn't she calm it, lately? She was just thinking about too much and it was starting to effect her judgement. Shoot. Deep breaths.

Deep breaths, step into the trees, Shehk. You could do this.

A trinket already? She was off to a good start, she guessed. Shehk picked it up and pocketed it without too much of a fuss, carefully stepping up onto a series of rocks to walk on top of them - they were less likely to crunch underneath her feet, after all.

Shehk seemed to deem walking on top of the rocks a good idea to continue, hopping off once to pick up a trinket that was floating nearby one of them.

Another time she had to climb up a tree to get another one of them, giving a good look around to see if she could spot another one. Aha! Over there! Yes, she could see one over in the distance over that way!

[Shehk uses Natural Ability Fog to Avoid this]

Shimmying down the tree again, Shehk toppled one of the rocks she had been crossing right over, causing her to nearly topple right into one of the large enforcers of the forest. Her eyes widened as it looked down at her with dominating red eyes, reaching out for her. A deep breath, and Shehk breathed out a stream of fog at it, coating herself in it to mask her exact location before she ran to flee to a safer location.

As she did so, she found another trinket, its glow illuminating barely underneath the reaching branches of a bush. She ducked down to get it, picking it up and pocketing it with the others she had already picked up, smiling to herself. Aha! She was well on her way to having plenty of these suckers!

She could see another one shining not too far off in the distance as well, shuffling over to pick it up, it joining the ranks of the other trinkets she had already pocketed. Score! She was doing really good at this. But she couldn’t let that go to her head yet! Oh, no she couldn’t.

Another trinket followed after that, picking it up before she heard something rattling rather..unsettlingly.

Looking up, there was something looming over her – something small, something massively bright. Her ears flicked back against her head, eyes narrowing and watering from the pain of the light before she backed up, snarling at her. Groowwwllll. Still, it began to follow her, even as she attempted to turn tail and flee from it. She had to shake this thing and quick before it attracted a –

It was too late. It had practically herded her right into the thing, Shehk stepping back and looking up at the large creature that seemed so.. happy to have her back at that time, growling up at it before it reached out, grabbed her, and immediately sent her down to the ground, causing her to black out – kind of. She was half conscious, but she couldn’t move her body, feeling as she was dragged along by the thing off towards where she had started.

It wasn’t gentle by any means, pulling her over rocks until it finally just dumped her down, leaving the Pricolici to wait out when she’d be able to function again. Jack dammit.
