i like this. i would like to see the left figure (breed i guess?) more slouched, she's far too upright for kitty-petting. also moved in more so that the two figures have more interaction with each other. maybe not in an actual physical sense but to make it look more like a scene.

and my picky side is also irritated by the cat on its back. nobody is petting its belly. how could anybody resist a kitty belly? :{
