Shehk stretched as she moved to step out onto the course again. She'd taken a while to reform, eat a squirrel, debate walking through the forest again.

Nope.

Everything was fine. Still, she again had to go and attempt the lightning field, grinning as she again ran out onto the course, making sure to start off as quickly as she could - even if she was nearly zapped to start off with, hissing through her teeth as she worked to regain her footing and move forward.

With that first slip up aside, however, she continued moving, barely watching the ground as she continued to climb up the hill, even making some running starts to jump up onto some of the higher ground that was more finicky and likely to get her caught by the lightning.

Yes.

She could do this without too much problem, right?

Right.

Yes. She believed in herself and so far her progress was showing for it. Could she keep it up?

It seemed that her approach was working out for her rather well, however, even as she was nearly halfway up the course, giving the lightning sparking about a suspicious upward glance before she grinned and continued to run. She loved her body - it was so..tireless sometimes.

Unless there was punch involved. Still, this was nothing. She just needed to not slow down.

She slipped on some of the uneven ground as she continued, slipping to her knees as lightning streaked past her, zapping her hair and making every folicle on her body stand on end, making her look very...

poofy....

as she got back up and continued to run, not even panting.

She was close to that finish line and she was going to push through to it. Oh yes she was.

With a final burst of speed, Shehk crossed over that finish line - thankfully on only her fourth try, doubled over and panting as she caught her breath, looking down at the rest of the field with a sort of lopsided grin.

She'd done it. Yes! These courses - while frustrating - made her almost feel invincible!

"WOO!" she threw her arms up in the air in glee, before she took a deep breath, looked up at the lightning, then down the hill. She took a moment to stretch, before she moved to book it back down it at top speed.
