People think many different things are wrong with me. I tend to be moody, regardless of whether I'm on my period or not, I get spooked easily and caught off guard by my sister just walking into my room unexpected, I have low self-esteem, and people often perceive me as anti-social. It's weird, I just don't know what's up with me. I've taken online quizzes, but of course those things can't diagnose me correctly. I really want to visit a psychiatrist. The issue is, I know my parents wouldn't take me to one, especially my father. They think personality and psychological disorders are stupid and made up, stuff people come up with as excuses for the way they act. And they definitely wouldn't want to pay money for something that they think is made up. What do I do? I seriously think someone is wrong with me, and the realization that I might have a disorder overwhelms me.

Maybe you can see your school counselor? If I'm not mistaken, they can give you guidance about this sort of thing and they can do it without telling your parents if you wanted them to. (I think. It's been a while since my school days.)

You could talk to a school nurse or councellor.. if this doesn't help you could always try to talk it through with your parents, if there is something wrong with they should take you to a doctor, PRONTO!
