Rules of the Murky Depths
Colorist Limitations -2 Flatsales and 2 Custom Openings a month- -3 Kelpies per FS/Opening- -2 Freebies per Month-
General Racial Rules 1. Male and Female Kelpies dislike each other beyond all reason and will not normally mate together. If they do mate together there MUST be RP/Plot for it seeing as it is not a normal behavior. 2. Kelpies prefer to mate with faes that are ebil. 3. Kelpies will generally mate with those that like water. 4. Kelpies are very territorial. You will rarely find more than one Kelpie in an area. If they do happen upon others of their kind, generally fighting ensues. 5. Female Kelpies are generally bad-natured and unpleasant. 6. Kelpies cannot be customed to be Holykats or any other innately good races. 7. As of now Female Kelpies may only be found in Events or Games. They can not be customed or found in flats (this may be subject to change). It is possible with breedings ( see rule below)
Racial Breedings Rules 1. Male Kelpies take care of the young in breedings. The females are more likely to not pay any attention to the children or even attempt to hurt them. 2. It is rare to see a KelpiexKelpie breeding. Most Kelpies will breed with other races, but only if they are ebil races. 3. Please Note: To obtain a female in a breeding there is a 20 % chance. Colorists must roll D100 or 1-100 in random number. 80-100 is the only ticket to achieving a breeding with a female born. The females are very rare and needs to stay that way otherwise the balance becomes tipped and alerts the Horse Goddess of the Kelpies' intentions. To have a chance at a Female you must put "Random" for your gender. Putting "Female" for a gender will not guarantee you a Female even in a KelpiexKelpie breeding. It is rare for a Blood Moon to occur as the Goddess promised this to Epona. In the event that a Blood Moon does occur the Goddess herself will visit the parents and bless their baby. When the female grows to adult and breeds she will automatically bear a female. That child however has no special qualities and must follow procedures for trying for another Female. 4. One final note: I will keep a list of who is blessed etc.
